My first time in Providence for the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority conference and I had to try Suya Joint! The décor was warm, welcoming, and beautifully reflected the African-inspired theme. The food was flavorful and well-prepared , the beans had a nice little kick of spice, the sweet plantains were perfectly caramelized, and the white rice balanced everything out nicely. Fantastic experience. Incredibly nice server who made excellent, personalized recommendations. Every dish was outstanding and the music made it so much fun. Best experience I’ve had dining out in a while.
