Came here on a whim before a show at PPAC and will definitely return. Our server was helpful and attentive, and made sure to check in on spice level to adjust the order to our tastes. We dined with our kids and they loved being able (and encouraged) to dig in with their hands for the full experience. Especially enjoyed the Jollof rice and plantains.
Casual setting, between diner and sit down. Reservation wasn't needed, but there aren't a ton of seats, so it could fill up on a busy night. Food was flavorful and mostly well cooked. Whole snapper was overcooked, so that was the only disappointment.
Incredible experience! Staff is absolutely wonderful and patient explaining the menu. I got the African Lovers sampler which allowed me to try Egusi and fufu as well as plantains. We also got samosas and my husband tried the Taushe stew (made with peanuts). Everything was so flavorful and had a bit of spice!
