Simply love this place - the food is great and delicious. Try their chipotle braised potatoes on everything ❤️. Easy place for vegans vegetarians or meat eaters alike to enjoy a great Mexican meal.

Tacos were great but disappointed in chx burrito bowl (too saucy/rich) and guacamole side was bland and not much better than store bought.

Some of the best Tacos and Torta in Providence! Unfortunately website and app don't allow checkout because of invalid zip code. Could not find a zip code field on checkout. Also this location opens at 11 am, even on Saturday, when the flea/farmers market is going on. The location has 1 breakfast taco on the menu.

Mexican/American born in California and raised in Texas here. Ordered 3 tacos:Carne Asada, Carnitas, and Barbacoa as well as a mango agua fresca. The food here is pretty good (8/10) and fairly authentic. Place looks fine and clean. This would be an amazing place to eat if it weren’t for the price… 3 tacos will land you around 18 dollars. 2.50 for a cup of salsa has to be a sin. People up north here are probably used to paying this much per taco and know no better but it simply is not worth it. Mango being the only flavor agua, it was quite the disappointment (2/10). If there is no other good mexican food in providence I will come back. Otherwise not worth the price.

Currently still sitting here eating; but it's literally such a poor experience I'm writing this to make sure I don't forget.
The food is mid grade. Nothing spectacular. It's over priced for the quality. $21 for a taco and nachos.
The queso is not liquid queso but shredded queso blanco but the staff doesn't mention that nor does the menu clarify it. So aside from it being lackluster it also took 20 minutes with only 2 people orders in front of us.
Biggest issue being; In the picture you can clearly see the large gap on the plate from them putting my side items ON THE PLATE and by proxy lowering the portion of the already very expensive item by 15-20% or more. When I asked the worker and showed her she literally agreed and said no you're right; then asked another guy who literally lied and said it would have came like that regardless. Then changed it to. Oh well I moved it over for the sides. Which wouldn't be possible because it wasn't moveable because the cheese made it all stuck together. Overall bad experience. Not worth the money paid. Definitely wouldn't recommend. I mean come on it's a Friday at 1pm. We were 2 of 8 ppl in the place. But yeah it's cute. Smh

Pictures are the dining room, ordering area, and a carne asada taco $5ish and the nachos chicken $15ish =$21

Tallulah's Taqueria is an excellent place to go for authentic Mexican food. The ingredients are fresh. The menu is simple yet extensive. Meat and vegetarian options available. Substitutions are allowed.

Pandemic update: indoor dining is not allowed, but, fortunately for patrons and diners, there are two large outdoor patio areas, on each side of the building, which is located on Ives Street, which includes mixed use commercial, retail, and residential space in the affluent East Side neighborhood of Providence.

The food is always delicious, staff is friendly and attentive. This location has been our go-to for a quiet place to enjoy some tacos and walk our toddler in the winter. With that being said no highchairs to be seen so plan ahead!

Nice spot, food is okay. Could be a lot more flavorful for the price. What kind of Mexican restaurant upcharges for hot sauce?

Be careful what you order because some proteins and the rice itself can be too spicy to enjoy. This is an awful place to bring children, the menu for them is a complete and utter joke. I personally asked the owner to address the lack of a decent children’s menu and I got no response. It’s either sit outside or takeout and the line to just pickup your food is unusually long during peak times. More often than not my food was cold by the time I got home. My kids refuse to eat here anymore and I don’t blame them. There are better options if you basically want “food truck food”.
