I love this place. The atmosphere is relaxing, ordering is simple and the tea service was great. This could be a great date night spot or just a place to relax sip some tea and read a book or work on your laptop. There is outdoor seating as well. I will definitely be back and highly recommend.
Food was great but waitress was very rude. It was our first time there so we don’t know how things work. Our food was brought out with no serving spoons so my friend went to ask for a couple of serving spoons. No one was at the counter when she arrived. She noticed a box of spoons just over the counter and grabbed a few not knowing the rules. The waitress came out and rudely said “people get kicked out for this, now I have to wash all the spoons again” and glared at her as if she had malicious intent. It was a miscommunication and waitress could have handled it a little better. It’s basic customer service 101. The entire night we felt tension and she was very unpleasant. Slamming our tea pot on the table, etc. It’s a shame cause the food was great but the way she spoke to my friend regardless of what transpired was uncalled for.
ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS SURPRISE!!
Parked in front of the restaurant while heading to another one but the food on other patrons’ plates looked too good to pass up.
Food was amazing (it’s been a while since we’ve had food this tasty), the restaurant was cute and cozy, and the waitress was very nice. Had the lamb shank tagine, mussels tagine, and goat cheese/beet salad. The Mint tea was so good we ordered another tea to try after dinner.
Good food, bad service, extremely long wait. Don’t come if you have less than 3 hours free time.
This is not your average sit down restaurant. You come in, grab a menu, order, then pay and await greatness. Please note that they have bigger menu than what is on Google and Yelp. I totally forgot to take a picture of the menu. All of the food is made to order so please be patient. We ordered the Mint tea lightly sweetened and the iced Hibiscus tea. Both very good. We ordered the bakoula, baked beets, Brie sandwich to start. Everything was delicious. The bakoula is like sautéed spinach and the baked beets are served with goat cheese and sliced almonds. You eat these both with Pita. The Brie sandwich was very good. It is served with mixed greens which are a bit bitter but the Brie and raspberry spread pair nicely together. We also order the tortilla de patata with is essentially a potato and egg quiche served with cherry tomatoes. It was Very good. It’s dimly lit but you can still read the menu and the Moroccan music in the background is at a respectable volume. They have a gender neutral bathroom which was nice and clean. They also have desserts and hookah.
Absolutely Disgraceful – Avoid at All Costs
One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever encountered. I arrived and ordered a large teapot while waiting for two guests. After 20 minutes, a waitress stormed over with an incredibly disrespectful attitude, demanding, without any courtesy, that I move to a smaller table. No greeting, no explanation, just blatant rudeness.
Shockingly, things escalated when her manager got involved. Instead of correcting the situation, he doubled down with aggressive language and actually threatened me to leave. This kind of behavior is not only unprofessional, it’s hostile and completely unacceptable in any service setting.
To top it off, the place had a strong, unpleasant odor, hardly the atmosphere you’d expect when trying to enjoy a simple pot of tea. I walked out, and I won’t be stepping foot in that place again.
If you consider yourself someone with even basic standards for respect and cleanliness, do yourself a favor and stay far away. This place is a disgrace, and it does not deserve your business.
What an amazing spot to relax and enjoy some tea and delicious dishes. The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful and cozy. I’d love to come back and try more of the tea!
I will never forget the moment that the mint tea hit my tongue. I drank tea all my life and I never knew it could taste like that. Strong and sweet at the same time with no added sugar or sweetener or anything. This was tea brewed and cooked to perfection. And the inside is beautiful with work from local artists and Rich colored paint. A lush atmosphere that matches the sensual food. If you haven't been here you're missing out of the best tea in Providence hands down

Awesome spot with great atmosphere. Love having a long, meandering conversation in the back room over pots of amazigh tea.
