I never give reviews, but this place Poor service. Came a few days ago and left with bad taste. Moroccan hospitality was not shown. not even just hospitality, but just being kind to customers should be priority!

Incredibly rude staff who were unnecessarily confrontational and aggressive. Our waitress would not answer simple questions, and insulted our friend (calling him stupid). Worst customer experience ever—not coming back.

every time i remember to come here, it's exactly what i needed.
atmosphere is always lovely. vegan dishes and lamb dishes for both ends of our food desires at a given time. warm lovely tea.
but EVERY TIME the food is presented and brought to us thoughtfully. coursed as best shared. extra rice or bread as an alternate if too many dishes came with pita. special harissa to try.
always welcoming and dear when I come in with my partner, with various friends, or to catch music. A gem of a place, by a family that takes pride in sharingand filling in the spaces I might not know enough to have ordered differently to better the experience.

A wonderful experience! The tea was the best I’ve ever had! The food was flavorful, sooo good! The service was warm and inviting. If you want a Moroccan experience, if you want to get out of Rhode Island and step into another continent for an hour or 2….this is the place to visit!

Terrible place I drive from Mass just to eat Moroccan food my bf is not moroccan so i wanted to introduce him to my culture! Initially there was a sign that they were open and i initially checked their hours they open at 1pm on a Wednesday gets there its say they are open the door wont open so i knock this guy doesn’t open the door looks at me flips the sign to closed and walks away! I m ashamed and very very disappointed as a Moroccan who is just trying to eat and enjoy her culture! I would understand if he only spoke to me ! Said anything like we have an emergency or incident we are not open just yet! But NO nothing just walks away!

This is our favorite restaurant and we LOVE everything about it!!. The owners make you feel so welcomed and part of the family. Mohammad is an exceptional chef. Selma is so gracious . True Morroccan hospitality and cuisine. The interior is authentic and transports you to a Morroccan riad. Our first choice whenever friends from out of town are visiting ( our friends always ask to return...its now their favorite restaurant in RI as well.) or we are celebrating a special occassion.
We never usually write a review but this was a must...the best kept secret in Providence.

I love this place. The atmosphere is relaxing, ordering is simple and the tea service was great. This could be a great date night spot or just a place to relax sip some tea and read a book or work on your laptop. There is outdoor seating as well. I will definitely be back and highly recommend.
Food was great but waitress was very rude. It was our first time there so we don’t know how things work. Our food was brought out with no serving spoons so my friend went to ask for a couple of serving spoons. No one was at the counter when she arrived. She noticed a box of spoons just over the counter and grabbed a few not knowing the rules. The waitress came out and rudely said “people get kicked out for this, now I have to wash all the spoons again” and glared at her as if she had malicious intent. It was a miscommunication and waitress could have handled it a little better. It’s basic customer service 101. The entire night we felt tension and she was very unpleasant. Slamming our tea pot on the table, etc. It’s a shame cause the food was great but the way she spoke to my friend regardless of what transpired was uncalled for.
ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS SURPRISE!!
Parked in front of the restaurant while heading to another one but the food on other patrons’ plates looked too good to pass up.
Food was amazing (it’s been a while since we’ve had food this tasty), the restaurant was cute and cozy, and the waitress was very nice. Had the lamb shank tagine, mussels tagine, and goat cheese/beet salad. The Mint tea was so good we ordered another tea to try after dinner.
Good food, bad service, extremely long wait. Don’t come if you have less than 3 hours free time.
