We are not from the area but this little gem was just down the street from the soccer Providence college stadium so we decided to try it. Loved the atmosphere, food was delicious and service very friendly. Would definitely go there again if we’re back in the area.
We decided to go to the Abbey tonight, because the food is good and it's in the neighborhood. It was busy tonight! There was a party before me waiting to be seated, and one after me, too. Then some guy and two women came in and first went through to the bar and then somehow got seated in front of the three parties waiting. Well. I did tell the usual guy waiting tables and pointed out the table when he asked. But our party didn't want to wait further if this is the way...
Service is slow. Difficult to get a menu. We had couple drinks and food. The temperature was 60 degrees inside, was told we have to wait for more people to come in to bring warmth in the room. Lol
