DONT SIT NEAR THE BATHROOM i think i have permanent hearing loss/damage to my ear drum- they slam all the used plates on top of eschother right @ your head level. Its SOOOOO loud my ear hurt for 3 days after. My dad had to turn his hearing aids down. We had to move- the waitress told us that was fine ONLY BECAUSE THEY WEREN'T

first time at this place, real busy Sunday, service very polite and accommodating, however it is on top of the kitchen, kind of noisy with dishes and caps, cooking and the radio or music, it is loud and I love that type of music. but loud for first thing in the morning, food excellent , coffee excellent, prices real good. enjoyed it a lot.

The food was okay, there are better places to eat in PVD. Our server was not attentive nor did she check in. However, we had another waitress check in with us multiple times and did a wonderful job. They had a food tax that wasn't on the menu when we got our bill. Wasn't a large amount, but I would expect to be notified or have it built into the menu. I understand its a statewide tax. Any travlers might not know and most establishments in PVD have their POS set to list food and beverage as a tax or built into the meal or the sales tax. Having it listed as a surcharge is a turn away for most travelers. The atmosphere was really crowded but not unbearable. Decent place to stop for convenience, but I probably won't be back too many places of business that exceed The Classic Cafe.
