I love Ellie's. The food is great and consistently quality. I've ordered their cakes for functions and they are delicious and very accommodating of dietary needs.
I wish they would fix their online menu ordering, I have a limited lunch break and don't have time to stand in line and wait for the food. It used to be a frequent lunch stop for me when I could order ahead.

It was really sucky, from the moment we walked in on a Thursday night we were the only people there to celebrate a friends birthday, all in our late 20s early 30s. They told us even though we had nine people we had to squeeze into the booth that could maybe fit six, they told one student that his international ID wouldn’t be any good next time he came in (even though a passport card is legal tender) and then we’re just really snarky and rude. People liked the drinks, I only had a tonic because I am sober but would never go back

I wanted to go to a place I haven't been to yet in Providence while I was out for the night. I was recommended this spot for drinks and I'm glad that I decided to stop in. The service was great, cocktails as well. I really liked the hibiscus breeze. There's great music playing, and it's such a chill environment.

Disgusting and unprofessional. Bartender used her hands to put ice in my drink then proceeded to become hostile with me when I mentioned it to my boyfriend. I was completely taken back at how aggressive she was even after I tried to explain that I wasn't going to say anything to her, my boyfriend took my drink, he would drink it.

The cocktails are phenomenal, the decor is fabulous, visit when in town!
It's more dive bar than "experience". Wasn't what I was expecting. If you want to drink at a bar, it's fine. If you want some light Mediterranean tasting dishes, it's okay. If you are trying to get dinner, don't go here. It's not a dig on them, of course, they are who they are, but it's a place to drink, not a place to eat.

I visited The Eddy upon a recommendation from a friend who used to live in Providence and all I can say is I wish I had more time in town so I could go a second time. The reason the experience was so good was because the two bartenders were both so friendly and knowledgeable—and made great drinks! I’m so happy we decided to sit inside at the bar because the conversation and interaction with the bartenders was excellent and added to the great experience. We tasted some very unique amaro and stayed longer because we were enjoying ourselves so much. Thanks Eddy for such a memorable time!

Was never told about last call until another customer walked in trying to order 30 minutes prior to closing. Asked the bartender if that was true, or could we order another drink first and was told "last call is at 12:30 every night". I've never been somewhere that doesn't announce their last call and also have never been here, so how would I know your last call time? I've worked in the service industry, and I get wanting to close on time, but drinks were still being made for other customers right next to us. Oh well, I won't be going back. ?♂️
