A speakeasy from the old days!? How cool! Live Dixie band and funky decor, great place to take a date. Next time I'll the New Orleans food as this first visit was checking it out with a drink.
Went here on a Saturday night and it was empty which should have been a clue, especially on the Hill. Bartender had no personality. I asked for a menu and she said it was on the table (QR code) with a lot of drinks listed. Problem is they have some Tropical Tuesday night with great sounding.drinks that they can only make on Tuesday!?! I orderwd a Dilemma which was not good. Asked for water and she pointed at a self serve water container with no ice in it. Then you have to...
The Royal Bobcat is fantastic overall! The staff is the best, and I consider them friends. The food is excellent, prepared and served well, and always delicious. The lighting, acoustics, and general atmosphere are comfortable and welcoming. Even with live music, it's possible to have a conversation because of the acoustics. I highly recommend it!
