Just moved to the neighborhood and happened upon this lovely place. Wonderful food, cozy ambience, and great service. I had the baked kibbeh, which came with a nice fresh salad, hummus, and rice, and it's the best dinner I've had in a while. Reasonably priced too. Highly recommend!

I live a block away and visit at least once a week. Cozy, comfortable, affordable, good menu. Ken the owner is a friendly host as is his wife (the cook). I have tried the stuffed grape leaves, chicken, pita plate with hummus. All delicious... The only reason I don't give it five stars is they don't do take out. I understand the desire to have people sit and have a meal, order a drink, have dessert, etc. But I have seen people walk in and walk out when told they cannot get take out.

What a great place for the neighborhood!! Everything was delicious. My only disappointment was I didn't know about this place sooner.

Very good meal - very fresh ingredients. Though a tad on the expensive side. Plus: good bread for the table

Great addition to the West End. Recently expanded/renovated and done very tastefully. Varied menu with a focus on Syrian food. We tried a variety of apps as tapas with a nice glass of wine and we were very satisfied. Ken was very helpful in helping us choose some nice plates beyond hummus and falafels.

Remember Babus restaurant in that Seinfeld episode. It has come to life. Food is good. Clearly very fresh. Some odd combinations. I hope it works tho just because the people working here seem so damned nice

I've always been a big fan of The Shop, and I'm glad to see it open again. The remodel is very nice. The new menu focuses on Middle Eastern food, and the new hours are dinner only. I had the kifta with hummus and salad - it was excellent. The new bar is also a nice addition. I ordered a tall Jack and Coke which was good too. This is by far the best Middle Eastern food I have found in Providence. The Shop is a scratch kitchen, so give them time to prepare your meal - you won't be disappointed.

This place is gem and just reopened! The wait staff is so friendly, the food is delicious, prices are so incredibly reasonable! I highly recommend getting the falafel salad which has so many tasty flavors mixed in. The house made dressing I would literally eat with a spoon it's that good! Finished my meal with a house made chocolate chip cookie that put all other cookies to shame! And that's not even mentioning their new bar and specialty sippy sips

Best Italian Sub I've ever had and I've lived on Fed Hill for 5 years now... quality product, fresh ingredients, great flavor. Everything you could ask for. Get it exactly how it comes, which includes mustard and to be honest never seen that on an Italian, but wow that was good. There sandwhiches are top notch!
