I come from boston to providance to visit this restaurant, food and service were great, they just need to fix their prices on the wall menu because when I ordered chicken with rice, Total price was 15$ but when I get out they charge me 16$
Good ramen. I loved the corn especially in this ramen; it’s charred first. One of the better ramen places in Providence by far!
I visited this place yesterday afternoon and wasn't pleased with the food, service, or portion sizes for the price. I ordered the fried chicken bowl, but the chicken tasted like it was frozen and microwaved, which was disappointing. I mentioned this to the women in front, but she didnt care. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.
Solid ramen, varied choices, Japanese beer and sake.
ramen and server was amazing! best egg i’ve ever had in my life!!
Food with no soul. Very lack luster at best. Save yourself the calories. On the positive side my beer was cold and the sake was hot. Cheers
The food was ok..inexpensive but they charge for add-ons (why is 1 egg an extra $2). You're paying for inexpensive food you can make on your own.. I'm not coming back since I know of better places in Providence for Japanese food. The atmosphere isn't that enjoyable since you're right on the main street and your conversation is interrupted by loud cars.
Delicious food, friendly people, and an overall enjoyable experience!
Always a great place to get ramen. Highly recommend the pork belly buns
Spicy Braised Beef Ramen is okay — not the best, broth is too salty and concentrated. The ramen isn’t the best, I’ve definitely had better ramen. But at least it wasn’t priced too crazy — $16 per ramen. The Kaarage disappointed me though, crazy small portion for $8.50. I wouldn’t come here again, but food was still decent.

We both tried the Ichiraku Ramen AKA Tonkotsu, and it was one of the best I’ve ever had, so delicious! And the service by Scott, was outstanding!! So kind and helpful, recommended 100%, I’ll definitely go back! Thanks Tori Tomo Team!
I ask for spice on my ramen and the waitress with a rude face said no. I ask if that is a house rule and she said she doesn’t know nor she try to find out. Service absolutely disappointing. I ended up dumping a bunch of table oil spice on my soup.
Hands down, my favorite place in providence. Hole in the wall restaurant. Great ramen, donburi as well as many great appetizers (karaage, gyoza ect) Staff are always welcoming, and during the cooler days have heat lamps for the outside seating. I also love the fact that they leave chili oil at the tables incase you need more spice.
Small but mighty ramen spot. Sky was an amazing Host and server. 10/10 and the ramen was even better! I tried the ichiraku ramen on their Monday Craft night. I highly recommend visiting. I like it here! Difficult to park and very casual but I still love coming. Great Spicy Ramen. Sometimes I have been here before and had some things I haven’t loved but today was good again. It maybe depends on who is working.
