My boyfriend and I just experienced the 6 course meal tonight and it was a treat! I loved the experience and everything tasted great! Owner has great communication! And we loved how it was all family working together.
Amazing food with an intimate ambiance
Amazing dining experience!
Dinner was amazing. They were able to accommodate us for a last minute reservation (literally 15 minutes before their last seating) & they over-delivered. My husband & I usually don't attempt coursed dinners since they tend to be stuffy & arent great for picky eaters.
Very small intimate place with excellent food and service. The pictures say it all in regard to the food. The owner of the restaurant takes care of the customers with undivided attention. You will be happy with this place if you are looking for inspired original creations.
My wife and I had our 27th anniversary, 12-course tasting dinner here. Such a special, romantic place for a most special wife and person! Owner and chef Massimiliano waited on us most attentively, with true European quality service. Food was artfully prepared by the owner's son Stefano, also a chef, in the open kitchen, which the seating surrounds. We ate whatever was prepared that day, each dish a complete surprise. (They do have a daily menu for selecting your dishes, but we wanted an experience.) Not one dish disappointed. Every plate was a creation of beauty, perfectly complementing flavors and differing textures. Culinary perfection in the heart of Providence! We will be back.
Try the tasting menu, try sitting at the japanese style counter and interacting with the chef.
Such a refreshing change regarding restaurants in Providence! We loved the intimate atmosphere and creative cuisine. Unique dining!! We loved our experience! We will return!
amazing everything about it!
Last night was a lot of fun! Definitely make a reservation ahead of time. The owner was very accommodating and got us a table without a reservation. There's two seatings at opening and around 8. Be mindful you'll need a lot of time if you're doing 6 or 12 course meal.. we had a 4 course meal and it was about 1 hour and 40 minutes. The atmosphere was nice and intimate. The food was spectacular. Cooked to perfection and the desert was so rich and with so many textures and flavors. It had all my favorites in a perfect portion- chocolate, ice cream, fruit, and wafers. There's a gratuity added to the bill so don't be surprised, it's disclosed on the menu. Can't wait to come back for another special occasion!!!
Restaurantji Recommends
We called ahead on a Saturday night for a 4 course tasting menu. The restaurant is very intimate where one can see the chefs at work. The food was excellent: the high points of our meal was mahi mahi first course that was incredibly tender and a scallops main course which was cooked perfectly. The price we paid was 60 for the 4 course meal.
This restaurant is completely unique with extraordinary food. I can not recommend it more highly.
An amazing culinary experience, the food was very good with unique pairings..
Should have a line out the door. Byob, affordable high-end food. Been 3 times, and all plates gave been great. A must try.
Amazing meal! The most creative and flavorful meal that I have had in Providence. Beautiful presentation, great service and fantastic food. Very impressed.
