I went to Wes’s Sunday night for dinner and the ribs were delicious! I mean delicious! It was not at all like the chain restaurant ribs which always tastes dry and Wes’s ribs were cooked perfectly over fire. The waitress was very nice and pleasant.
The only complaint and disappointment I had was the waffle fries were taken off the menu and not served anymore which I think is a mistake because the curly fries were just okay. Their waffle fries when they had it recently is delicious and I love to soak them in the BBQ sauce which is phenomenal by the way. I do hope they bring back the waffle fries because it goes better with the ribs and it’s delicious. Maybe they should offer both the waffle fries and the curly fries but I personally would pick the waffle fries every time.

Sorry, add us to the list of people who won’t be returning. Brought my extended family - kids and grandchildren - after a Providence Bruins afternoon game. Besides our party of 8, there were exactly two other tables occupied. One couple already had their food and the second was a gentleman who walked in right behind us. We ordered drinks for kids and adult beverages. Waited approximately 1/2 hour. Drinks came out with food. While food WAS hot when we got it, it got pretty cold while we waited for TWO waitresses to realize we had no plates and no utensils. We had ordered the family meal but nothing came with utensils to serve the sides. Again, we waited for those to be brought to us. I hadn’t been to Wes’ in approximately 30 years and am guessing I won’t return again in the next 30 either. Our bill, with the 20% gratuity added by them and NOT advised ahead of time was $265. For 5 adults (1 Coke, 2 beers, 2 margaritas) and 3 kids (8, 10 and 12) each with a soda. The sides that came with the family meal were absolutely not 1 pint, so we ordered 4 more sides). Also had the appetizer platter and a separate order of plain chix wings. Yup, $265 and it was not only cold, but really - nothing to write home about either. Highly doubt Wes’ will see another 50 years

Trajedy what happened to this place under new ownership. Prices are like they are serving the east side of prov and lost their focus on where they are. Food is generic and lost all of its soul. Service was great and staff friendly. Place was whisper quiet only 2 of us in the entire place 6pm in the evening.
Was such a good place before. To bad.

The best ribs!!! Is sooo delicious
So overpriced and disappointing. The “California burrito” was small, soggy and not as described on uber eats. No avocado, no brisket, no fries. They just wrapped pulled pork, pico and crappy cheese in a tortilla straight into a box with no tinfoil or paper so it got soggy and fell apart.

Was not worth the hype ! Mac and cheese was very dry and the brisket had no flavor profile !! I WILL NEVER ORDER HERE AGAIN!
