If I could give them no stars, I would. Food was not good at all. Our family ordered 5 different plates. Except for the toast, we weren’t able to have this breakfast. Definitely not worth the amount we paid. I would not recommend this diner for breakfast to anyone. Not a good experience.
West side diner? Should be named East side AND West side diner. This place dominates. Twice during the meal, I burst in tears. I was so pleased. What kind of gremlin do they have making the home fries. Oh my. And the coffee. THEY HAVE THE BEST COFFEE. I wish I could say more but I can't find the words. Please go. Make a day of it. You may never eat again after you go because everything pales in comparison. Peace

Every trip in town I touch bases with this diner. The waitress was talkative and extremely helpful. I miss RI hospitality ?
Had a steak breakfast everything was delicious. Not as much art on the walls as I'd been accustomed to from previous visits. I enjoyed seeing local talent showcase their artwork. Food was good

Recently moved to PVD from NYC. Was depressed for months, wondering why there are no diners here. This is an awesome classic diner, great food, friendly service and free flowing coffee. My only critique is the limited hours.

Stepping into the Nostalgic West Side Diner in Providence feels like a trip back in time. The classic retro vibe sets the perfect mood for a breakfast that’s both comforting and delicious. We enjoyed a delightful breakfast, with every detail—from the vintage decor to the friendly service—making the experience feel special. The food was hearty and satisfying, just what you’d hope for in a diner that takes pride in its roots. If you're in Providence and craving a breakfast with a side of nostalgia, this is the place to go.

Excellent breakfast food and full bar. Not too crowded and parking on street is easy, at least on a Sat late morning. Eggs Benedict was very good.

Ordered delivery super simple order. Asked for cream with iced coffee (logical) and extra syrup for pancakes. Didn’t recieve either nor butter for anything either. Is it so hard to follow really simple directions? Used to love coming here for breakfast even with the terrible service. I mean who doesn’t love dry pancakes

my boyfriend, his sister and i came here for breakfast - they both got different variations of bagel egg sandwiches, home fries and a side of corned beef hash. i got an omelet, hash browns and toast. the food was decent, nothing in my opinion to really go home and rave about personally. the one thing that stuck out to me the most was the service… we sat at the bar and not once did our waitress or anyone ask us how are food was and if everything was okay; not one employee in the entire establishment had a smile on their face; im a server and i understand being stressed but as a customer seeing a bunch of unhappy faces when walking in didnt make me feel great about the restaurant. we after sitting down waited 10-15 minutes to put just a drink order in. its very disappointing as the reviews on this place looked good and we traveled to the area to visit for the weekend and figured lets find a good breakfast place. we got our food after the people who were seated after we got our drinks, the staff looked unhappy and wasn’t welcoming, and the food wasn’t anything super special. this definitely wont be an establishment i will be back to visit.
