Traveling through Providence and looked for a breakfast/brunch spot online. Came across this diner and decided to give it a shot. It was an old school looking diner from the outside and I was worried they didn’t have enough space for us at that time, but the hostess told us to go around to the back where there was a dining room with plenty of space. Breakfast was very good and plentiful, service was good, and it was affordable. If we ever travel through the area again I would make a stop here.

This review relates to an order placed through a delivery service, but the review content relates only to the food quality. I ordered Hungry Man and side of Home Fries. The restaurant forgot the Home Fries. The Hungry Man was terrible, and I had to throw it away after my third bite of egg shell bits. Hungry Man: The scrambled eggs and hash (somehow) contained lots of little egg shell bits that were very gritty and sandy and caused me to throw away the dish. The hash itself appeared to be straight out of the can and disgusting. I requested that both the hash and hash browns be “cooked CRISPY, burn them please.” Both were extremely undercooked. The only item that seemed to offer some redemption was the “short” stack of pancakes, which was quite large. However, the restaurant forgot syrup, and I had just run out, so I didn’t end up eating these either.

A truly authentic diner experience! Whenever I visit Providence from LA, we go here for breakfast at least once. They have best corn beef hash on the planet and if you need a Bloody Mary to smooth your morning you can get that too.

I want to say the food is great and Tammy is a pleasant woman. She is a very hard worker and will do anything for the customers. The other woman I feel like she just seats around.

Well it was first time at the west wing. And the atmosphere was great. The young lady that took my order was awesome she asked me what I wanted in a very polite manner to me and my family. I asked her what was her name and she my name is Tammy. I said to Tammy if I can write something about you . And let your boss know that you made me feel at home. God bless 🙌🏽

Tammy and Lori are the best! They always greet me with a smile and the food is always great. My job is really busy, but the West Wing team makes it so that a yummy lunch is something I don't need to worry about during the day. I can always count on them -- highly recommend!!
The African American girl ( I didn't get her name) was extremely courteous and pleasant. She greeted myself and family with a smile and made an amazing bacon egg and cheese sandwich. Her assistant was friendly also. Great atmosphere and great food.

We read about this online and made it our first stop in Providence. A bit of a walk from the centre of town, but worth it. The staff weee amazingly friendly, welcoming and helpful. The diner is a time capsule and we enjoyed every minute of our meal. The food servings were generous in size, but reasonably priced. It is a must visit stop for anyone who wants to experience a real diner,,
