My husband and I have recently been to the Wood River Bar & Grill on three separate occasions. On each visit, the food was really good and the staff was friendly. The prices are good and we like the down home country feel of the place.

My husband and I have been going for quite some time to this restaurant and last night I have to say was our worse experience. We ordered stuffed shrimp which was only stuffed with bread crumbs, and a crispy chicken sandwich. Both were tasteless. A cosmo with Tito's vodka was $17.00, $4.00 extra for Tito's which is probably 1 1/2 ounce shot. Too expensive for the quality received. Will have to reconsider going again. Connie B

I hadn't been here in a few years. I remember the last time the food was just so so, it might have been a different management at that point. So I was pleasantly surprised with the food. I had the Philly cheese steak and it was absolutely delicious.

Ate in the lounge for a late lunch. Ordered cheese steak and fish tacos which was a lunch special. Food was great, service and atmosphere were wonderful too. No complaints!

We have been here before, quaint, old pub style. Service was excellent, very pleasant. Food was hot and very good, I had a burger with sweet potato fries, perfectly cooked, hot crispy fries..hubby had a rueben and fries, very good. Calamari appetizer hot and tasty. We will definitely be back.
