I was delighted to see delicious samples and a wide variety of Italian groceries available to buy. I was disappointed to open my Caprese sandwich and see not a single leaf of basil on it which is one of the 3 ingredients… the bread was good and other ingredients also good, and I’ll try something else another time but this was a bummer. I should’ve grabbed some of the basil that was growing in the pots on the way out.
What a great place, clean, great taste, and friendly staff, we had the opportunity to meet Matteo, the owner as well, one thing you must try, Nutella Tiramisu. We are definitely coming back.
As a local RI business, sometimes we just have to give a shout out to another RI business that surprises us. Bella's Italian Gourmet Deli was a stop after a job that our team completed today in Riverside, RI. Sandwiches, atmosphere and service was EXCELLENT.
