I haven't ever gotten a bad cup of coffee from Honey Dew. Their ability to turn out a consistently good cup of coffee over decades is astounding.
This morning my partner and I drove through the drive through and my HOT coffee was spilled all over my partner as he was getting it from the person at the window. The person at the window did not express any concern, was dismissive, and indicated the cause of the coffee spilling was because of my partner, and his ‘lack of awareness’ of OUR car instead. The drive through window is very high up, which is no fault of theirs, but given this, it is important to be conscious of how things are handed to customers, especially hot drinks. The person at the window did not get paper towels or napkins right when the spill occurred, only after we were about to drive away. They also did not ask if my partner was okay from the hot coffee being spilled at the potential of it burning him. As we are young adults of mixed race, it adds the question of if this behavior was due to age and racial discrimination on the staff end. While this is not indicative of Honey Dew as a whole, this was extremely disheartening and the situation was handled very poorly and unprofessionally from a business standpoint. Making sure the wellbeing of a customer when something occurs, such as a large amount of hot coffee being spilled on them, should be at the forefront. Accidents happen, as we are all human, but it is our job, especially as workers, to display professionalism and respect with customers who are paying money and are being patient with the staff.
Every time I call for a full cheese sandwich there is an excuse why they can’t make it last time was because it’s to early really isn’t that why they paying you for?

Used to be my go to place in the morning but it’s terrible there now. My coffee is never good at this location and service is terribly slow. Be prepared to sit in the drive thru line for a while even if you’re the only car. The people working aren’t very friendly either. I was given the wrong sandwich in the drive thru and was told to get my correct sandwich I had to give the wrong one back which isn’t allowed at restaurants due to cross contamination. Once it goes into the customers possession an employee should never touch it again. Also if you make a mistake and it’s just going in the trash why not let the customer keep it? While inside waiting for my correct sandwich I saw an employee touching food, their headset, and hair/forehead all with the same pair of gloves on. I won’t be back.

Every time I come to this location the same lady that works the window is incredibly RUDE and disrespectful and today topped the cake. This is a reoccurring issue that needs to be dealt with. Why work at an establishment when you can’t provide any type of customer service, having experience as a manager in retail this type of behavior is disgusting. Do better!!!!!

Staff this morning were great, making our food ahead of time and being extra helpful, especially the woman with the red hair but both were great. Their portions are bigger than Dunkin and their donuts have way more glaze, frosting, etc. The frozen fudgesicle tastes exactly like a fudgesicle!

Not sure what has happened- been coming here for years on the weekends. Our favorite employee has not been in for about a month, and coffee and food has been sub-par at best ever since. The food tastes old (bagels either frozen or not from today), and our coffees have not been made correctly. Always had the best experience with a positive greeting and our food prepared perfectly (she even knew our order- and price total- as we pulled into the drive thru). Seriously hoping she's okay and that she's found work in a more staffed and supportive environment, and that this location can get their act together, because it was seriously the best.

Friendly, quick service and my iced coffee was made just right! (I’m picky about my iced coffee lol)
I have been coming to this Honey Dew location for several years and there were times where it was 50/50 that my coffee would be made right. That is, until Tammy started working there. She has made my coffee perfect since day 1 and never disappoints. She is personable, relatable, funny and makes a damn good coffee. Five stars!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I visit Honey Dew at 100 Newport Ave almost daily. For about a week I have not seen Tammy on any of her shifts. She is my absolute favorite... always puts a smile on my face... There have been times when the line at the drive thru has been quite long and she is the only one working both inside and drive thru ... I dont know how she does it. Who ever the manager is at this location... this girl needs a raise. I only hope she is on vacation and you did not lay her off.
