????Worst experience ever at any Panera I've ever been to in my life. Three clueless girls in the back putting together orders and have no idea what they're doing. You come to the window and charge me for my order and then I sit there for almost 8 minutes without anyone else coming back to the window Then, you come back to the window again and tell me another price and try to charge me for someone else's order?? Are you stupid or just dumb?!Then once you actually hand me the bag of food, I ask, "ok where are the drinks?" ..I ordered 2 lemonades... And you look at me like you never did this job a day in your life. Not your fault though..I always blame the manager and the person who thought they would make a good manager. Customer service in food and beverage is at an all time LOW. You're located in an area with people who have money..upper middle class.. HIRE PEOPLE THAT REFLECT THAT SAME ENERGY!!!!!!!!!!!! Moving from the south county Commons to up the street was smart. Now make another smart move and TRAIN YOUR UNEDUCATED EMPLOYEES!!!!To make matters worse, I had a passenger in the car that was severely sick and the staff were moving like molasses. I asked three times if they could hurry up and please hand us a drink because my passenger was sick and needed a beverage. No effort at all was made to move faster.Never going here again. Legit 1st and last visit to your Smithfield location EVER!!!!? ANYONE READING THIS GO TO JERSEY MIKE'S, CHIPOTLE, OR CAVA ?

I came in for an interview and of course the hiring manager wasn't there to interview me. I have emails to prove that she has spoken to me, but they wasted my time and day just to ghost my candidacy. For a simple part-time job. SO unprofessional this location.

Ordered two french onion soups, extra cheese.Almost no cheese and no croutons. Like, there was no way that amount of cheese could be mistaken for a lot. Or even a normal amount. It was like maybe a teaspoon worth.

Terrific service and atmosphere. The food is typical Panera food but these people make it very well. ?Vegetarian options: Lots of salads and a few vegetarian sandwiches. There are a few vegetarian soups like the tomato soup and autumn squash, but the broccoli cheddar soup is NOT vegetarian because it is made with chicken broth.Dietary restrictions: There's not many gluten free options for those who are sensitive. The warm grain bowls are gluten free and a couple of the salads are too. The broccoli cheddar mac is a very popular gluten free item but they are getting rid of it soon :/

A hot freshly brewed coffee is easy to come by if you request Alex as your cashier. Alex is a highly motivated and thoughtful employee at Panera's Bread who accomadates all the customers needs. Alex turned my frown upside down and made my day. Thanks Alex B!

I have been here 6 times in a row and there has been an issue every single time. Once I got home without a sandwich I paid for, had to drive half an hour there and back home, then they billed me twice for something I only received one of but I caught it before I left, then they didn’t have the right bread for a sandwich, another time there was no dressing for the Fuji apple salad, tonight the drive through was “closed” even though I pulled up behind a car receiving a bag of food. Whoever is in charge of ordering products and managing this place evenings should be terminated. 6 tines in a row is a problem. Check your bags and your receipt before driving away. Or better yet just don’t go to this location. I don’t have issues like this at other locations ever.

Had to tell the lady at the counter I didn’t want the bread she touched with bare hands and then put on a money deposit bag, she did this so it wouldn’t touch the counter, money is even nastier than the counter!

Stopped in shortly before close on October 15th 2023. Bottom line is they were out of everything, no bread for sides couldn't make a sandwich had none of the soup anyone in our party was looking for. Ended up just ordering two salads, one a chicken Caesar the other the Fuji apple chicken. They used the wrong lettuce (iceberg)in the Fuji apple chicken salad which is supposed to have arugula. They said nothing. They also used blue cheese in the Fuji apple chicken salad and then they forgot the dressing. I'm not sure what you would call that salad but it was damn sure not what it was supposed to be on more than one level. What a miserable job and there were at least six people working in that restaurant when I stopped and went through that drive-thru. On the upside at least now my wife and daughter are is pretty soured on going back to Panera so I won't have to deal with it. In case Panera wants to look at it the order number was 1463262 and I was guest 262. I take it attention to detail is nothing they focus on in their training regime. Lastly when they handed the salads out the car they just stuck it out and said absolutely nothing. Top to bottom poor experience.
