If I could give this Sonic location a 0-star review, I would. I’m disappointed every time but always find my way back in that line of endless waiting because I love cherry limeade. Today I made the mistake of ordering online, to which I waited 30 minutes in the pick-up parking, and never received my order. At that point, I just left because I have places to be and can’t justify waiting that long for a 2 dollar drink. Hire more employees or shut this location down because it sucks. Never had a good experience.

Two combos took 28 minutes. We were the only car and there was at least two employees. Horrible service and food was bad! 26$ for wasted time and crap food! Threw out the food. Never eat here again.

I ordered on the app and once I arrived, went to a bay. Waited 30 minutes after the order screen promised that an employee would be right out. I finally switched to the drive through. Once I got to the front of the line they used an excuse that they were really understaffed. Then they tried to only give me 3 of the 4 drinks I ordered. I pulled up my order, they then tried to decide which of my 4 drinks they hadn't given to me. I had 2 diet cherry limeades, a strawberry limeade, and a grape slush. I am convinced that I didn't actually get diet cherry limeades because they tasted too sweet. It should not take 55 minutes to get 4 drinks. I will think long and hard before I return to this Sonic.

Every time I come to this location, I wait a minimum of 20 minutes for someone to take my order in the drive thru. The food is usually either cold or absolutely terrible. You need to hire more people. I don’t even know how you can keep this place up and running like this.

The drive installs were down but yet I sat there for 10 minutes and nobody came out to say hey the Drive-In windows are down. The screens were lit up and the buttons worked. The menu worked it. Went to ask what was going on with it at the drive-thru and I was told to wait twice just for them to hear me out. Manager was like. Yeah I'm working on it. Whatever I was like maybe you should start telling people that it's broken. He goes. Oh it's not my job to inform everybody even though he's the manager. Terrible customer service. I would not recommend ever going back to this one in Smithfield. Absolutely trash

Awful, terrible service now. Who's managing this location ??? ANYONE??? ANYONE AT ALL ?? Or are the inmates running the asylum? Every single car that reaches the drive thru speaker has to wait at least 10+ mins for their order to be taken. With 2 cars in the bays.... What is REALLY going on at this location lately?? The 3rd time in 2 weeks...Def not coming back to this spot. ... thanks for wasting (Literally) 28 mins of my time WAITING for "Fast Food" while you're dead slow.. didnt get to order, I pulled off.. couldn't wait anymore...Crazy

They had no more small cups, so they couldn't make any drink on the discount menu. They would even give me a medium cup and fill it halfway, you just can't order anything small and the next size up is more than double the cost! The small cream slushy was on sale for $1.99 and then the next size was $4.99! They said they had no more fries or tater tots...ummm 🤦♀️. You can't go in their dining room at all (COVID is over). I have no clue how the food is going to be because I've been waiting 20 minutes for it (so far!)...

Waited at the little window drivin spots for about 15 mins. we got no service, then waited in line for 30 mins before someone answered the drive-thru speaker got told they didn't have fries or tots or large or medium drinks... was overall not impressed for my 1st time trying a sonic

Didn’t get my whole order. Had to wait to for them to rectify it after I pointed it out aaaaand still part of the order was missing. Ordered a number 4. Cheesy bacon sonic stack. Literally no bacon.
If you don’t want to work just say that but to charge us and then get butthurt when we want you to DO YOUR ACTUAL JOB is crazy. I’ll stick the going to the one on post rd. Genuinely I’ve no clue how this place is still open.

I have never left a review for a location before but I am currently fuming over the complete lack of service. We drove quite a while to get to this sonic and were super excited to get something, we ordered online in the hopes of saving time, pull into a stall, push the button and no response. We waited about 25 minutes and heard nothing so we pulled into the drive through. Waited another 25 minutes in the drive through and continued to be ignored. We drove around the side after finally giving up and saw the staff through the window all playing on their phones and not working. Absolutely terrible customer service and such a disappointment. Please avoid this sonic as they clearly cannot run a business.

Drove 6 1/2 miles through School Bus Traffic just to find out that there is no dine in. My 1at time there and my last time. If I wanted to eat in my car , I would make my own sandwiches and park in my driveway.

How is location still open? Will the owner please close this mess of a store and can we please get Wendy’s back in Smithfield? This store is absolutely trash - look at all of the reviews.
