Starbucks usually has consistent quality, but the drinks here are overwhelmingly sweet… Even when ordering reduced sugar, the attempt still tasted loaded with syrup, and the amount of ice that they gave diluted what was left of the actual beverage. It feels like you’re paying mostly for sugar and ice rather than coffee… I wish the staff here offered better balance and more control over sweetness and ice by default!

Extremely disappointing experience. I was verbally attacked by another customer in the store and my order was made incorrectly… instead of responding appropriately and addressing the mistake respectfully, the staff exacerbated the situation… their manager did try making it right but there isn’t much of a way to make up for the damage, energy and lost time. Employees did nothing to intervene, even arguing directly instead of accepting feedback and initially refused to remake of refund my drink.
Basic courtesy and professional conduct were completely lacking. I would have rated this location positively if it had been handled appropriately, but this experience was unacceptable and unnecessarily disruptive.

So I went in to get my PTL yesterday and I suffer from depression, Anxiety and Suicidal thoughts and I normally just keep my head down and don’t really say much to anyone but I walked in and ordered my drink and I wasn’t asked for my name, she just said my name and I looked up and said yes that’s my name. It made me feel seen for those few seconds and that was the high light of my day. Thank you to the Barista that remembered.

I’ve never had an issue with Starbucks customer service before, until I recently had an interaction with a blonde employee named Honesti. She was incredibly rude and unprofessional. She seemed completely uninterested in helping several other customers with issues, and kept texting and giggling while in the middle of a discussion with us and others. I’ve never seen someone so lazy in a customer service role, she didn’t even bother trying to resolve simple issues when they came up. Unfortunately, will not be returning anytime soon because of our experience with her.

Such a great place this location has come, I've been coming here for many years and seen some of the managers come and go, but the current manager is always so pleasant. Every time I come in she always says hi to ever person she sees and goes above and beyond to mention people and learn their names. The partners there are usually always in a joyful spirit and make you feel like you can sit back and enjoy a coffee. They seem like they are always having a good time and making such amazing drinks. I sometimes find myself in awe at what they are able to do and I know I'm not the only one. I know food service is not easy and not for the faint of heart even with a company as big as Starbucks so I give them all the credit for all that they do. Good Luck to the Smithfield crew!

I’ve just about had it with Starbucks and their shadiness with our drinks. Beginning to wonder if it’s ALL locations. This is the 2nd time in one month (two different states) that I’ve ordered online, received my drink, and it was only half full of coffee and half full of foam/whip.

It’s almost as if Starbucks employees think we are stupid?!? As soon as they handed it to me I could instantly feel that the Venti was too light - how do THEY not know that when they literally hold these cups every single day?

I gave it 30 seconds for that hot coffee to melt that whipped cream and then opened the top and went back to the register. I opened it for her and asked her why my venti was only half full of drink? She wasn’t even surprised so my guess is that it’s not unusual and they know exactly what they are doing.

I assure you that Starbucks makes MORE THAN ENOUGH money that they don’t have to cheat/steal from their consumer base. If I’m paying $7 for a cup of anything that has about $0.20 worth of ingredients in it, the VERY LEAST they can do is give me my full order.

Shame, shame.

I also found it weird that not one single person working this morning would make eye contact with me. No smiles. No sense of happiness. I’ve always found at least one person to be pleasant in all the locations I’ve ventured into - very odd! I’m around town for another couple days and I think I’ll just find me a small, independent shop to try. Today’s entire experience was an absolute FAIL in my books.

On Sunday July 6 I went in to pick up the food and drinks that was ordered through my mother’s app when Hannah was extremely rude to me and extremely hesitant to give me the food that was ordered. She gave me an extreme attitude when I told her that it was our food that we ordered before just eventually giving it to me.

I was having a really horrible morning I could barely order in the drive thru through my tears and the two girls and guy working the drive thru were so kind to me and paid for my drink. They all deserve a raise and for their pillows to always be cold

I came in today to get my dog a Pup Cup and a Cake Pop, the guy said through the intercom that she was a very lucky dog and I told them it was her last day. When I came to the window the girl told me the cake pop was on her. I just want to say that today was a terrible day but your kindness made it a little bit better. Thank you for the compassion! My dog loved every lick and bite!
