Had a great lunch with friends. 1/2 price wine mondays are always a plus.. Jessica at the bar was wonderful
Food was okay, but issue was a very loud event with loud bass sound and it wasn't pleasant.
Nice restaurant. I had the beef shank at lunch and the portion was very nice. Service ok.

This place is 100% authentic. All the Italian charm you’d find at a restaurant in the North End in Boston, the Italian Market in Philadelphia or Arthur Avenue in the Bronx - except you’re in Smithfield, Rhode Island. Total gem. Definitely going back the next time I’m in town.

We have gone to this restaurant several times for lunch and dinner. Have recommended their lunch and dinner specials with the Monday half price bottle of wine. We brought friends for lunch after mentioning that this is a wonderful restaurant with good food and a good variety of specials. Our server was the worst, miserable, disgruntled girl that waited on our table. I have been there several times and never saw her before. The restaurant had no bread that day and was rude when we asked for a bread basket. She made no apologies.. just no bread! She was a blonde girl. Wasn't friendly so she wasn't big on giving her name. It was very rare to get such a miserable server because most of them have been there for years, enjoy their jobs, and recognize frequent customers. Thank you Chris, Cheryl and the male server that I cannot remember his name but has been there for many years. They like their jobs and the customers!
We shared two apps (porcini pockets and eggplant rollatini). The eggplant was excellent but different from what I know as rollatini. The sauce was fresh and flavorful. We didn't love the porcini pockets. Sauce was bland and thin. For dinner we both opted for vodka sauce and were very happy with that decision. Husband had penne with chicken. Portion was very generous (he took food home for the first time ever). I had burrata ravioli. The ravioli was fresh and light but I could have forgone the ravioli and justchadca bowl of sauce. It was as good as I've had anywhere. Service was excellent. Servers friendly, efficient and knowledgeable.
We celebrated a special birthday at Tavalos in Smithfield last Saturday afternoon. It was a wonderful time thanks largely to the delicious food and even more, the service. Everything and everyone couldn’t have been anymore accommodating! Especially for a party, one needs communicate their wishes clearly. This was done and everything was fantastic!
Thanks Tavalos and crew!!

This is my second time dining at this location. The food is phenomenal, the service impeccable & the drinks delicious 🙌🏻highly recommend !!
Discovered this restaurant by chance as I was looking for an Italian restaurant after visiting Southwick's Zoo with the whole family. Couldn't have made a better choice. Great atmosphere, wonderful food and excellent service. Definitely a place I can recommend.
Food is amazing but expect the rudest waitress you’ve ever met to throw silverware on your table and rush around the restaurant like a chicken with her head cut off, interrupting the peaceful atmosphere. She was also openly complaining there weren’t enough people working. Not the kind of service you experience when paying so much for a meal. My family has spent a lot of money here over the years and we won’t be back after what she pulled last time- telling us they were out of bread at 3pm while we saw her bringing it to other tables and making us wait an exorbitant amount of time for our check out of retaliation for people in our group that she wasn’t happy with.

amazing and wonderful birthday celebration here! thanks to everyone! wonderful food and experience
Average at best. Bill was $90.
Had Lunch at 230 on a Sunday.
The atmosphere was very dark for a Lunch service.
Clean place.
The service from the wait staff was decent. Not very enthusiastic.
The bread and oil was good.
Burger was most likely a frozen patty, and was charred on the outside and very rare in the middle. Truffle Fries didn't have a strong or mild truffle taste, but was hand cut.
The clam zuppa was good.
The Ceasar Salad was alright.
The eggplant parm with penne was decent. The eggplant itself was cooked well and was crispy. The melted parm was good. The sauce felt like it came out of a can, aka, very watery. Could have used salt and garlic.
Overall, wont be going back.
That said, I realize many others have had good experiences. Not taking that away from them. This was just my honest opinion on it.
Service staff didn't say good bye when we left.

The beef shank over gnocchi was incredible! Our waitress was lovely and so attentive. I'll definitely be back.
Our church women's group met there (Crew) and we had 10 people. We were given the back room area and it was great. The waitress was so professional and accommodating by giving us individual checks. The food was fabulous!

I had the Lobster Ravioli and it was slightly undercooked. My husband had the scallops with risotto and the risotto was also slightly undercooked. The calamari was good. Service was good.
