Tavolo Wine Bar & Tuscan Grille

Service was good Place looked clean Food NOT good I ordered chicken parm.....tried to cut it ....Not good...tried the other side ...better... (normally I would have complained but I didn't want to ruin everyone's time. ) The chicken was like rubber!!! I ate some of the pasta and brought the rest home to throw away. Before I had a chance to throw it out ..My husband came home and was hungry and heated it up LOL he started to eat it and found a 2 inch piece of black plastic in it!!!! I won't be going back to Tavolo Wine bar and grill in Smithfield!!!

We love going to this place after work. The food is good, the drinks are great, and Jess behind the bar is Amazing! She's always ready with our drinks and creates such a friendly environment that you feel like you're home!

Food was good. Nothing lifechanging. Filet was cooked as ordered but had no salt or pepper. Needed some flavoring. Waitstaff was abrupt to my son. Walked off a lot.always seemed like in a rush. It was Easter. Would have been nice to be kind to the kids. Won't be back anytime soon mostly due to the poor service.

We had a wonderful, attentive server and the hostess was a walking comedy show. Not at all intrusive but kept us laughing with every interaction! The two of them made our night out with friends extra-special!!

Although the service and the ambiance were great, the food was awful. My husband and I ordered cod and chicken parmigiana. The fish was dried out and bland. Chicken Parmigiana is my favorite meal. This was the absolute worst that I’ve ever had. Very dry and hard to cut. Seemed like it was defrosted in the microwave. I would not recommend this place

Great experience and service! Paige served us at the bar- it was her first night and you would have never known it!! I actually lost an envelope with some money in it for my trip and they brought it back to me at the hotel we were staying at next door! So grateful for this- Thank you!

One of our favs! Great lunch menu and dinner menu. I celebrated my birthday at this location with my better half and some good friends.

Delicious. Great service, fair prices and nice atmosphere. Super friendly staff. I think my salmon could have done without the avocado whip, the black bean salad was ok. But the salmon was cooked perfectly. Calamari was delicious, great portion. Risotto ball was good, super filling. Loved the bread and spicy olive oil. Craft beer selection could be improved, good wine. My parents loved their cavatelli meal.

Asked for Guinness stout…blonde bartender insisted Guinness draught was the only Guinness in the bottle..she noted she had been a bartender for over 26 years…I ordered a Heineken and was disappointed with the way she answered me.

So the waiter introduces himself and then tells us all the items that are not available due to the holiday. We are there for my wifes birthday. She IOrdered pork chops and lo and behold 20 minutes later, and they put a plate of pork loin in front of her. We immediately inform them hey this is not what we ordered and we get woops, sorry. Let me check with the kitchen. Yup, no porkchop, sorry. Bill at the end still says porkchop. So i guess the kitchen doesn't know the difference. Well, we do, and i guess if we ever go back, we'll have to explain it to them better. Everything else was fine, but it was her birthday, so maybe somewhat disappointed. Me too.
