I was in today and witnessed an older lady go to the rest room with her gloves that she handles food in and come out of the bathroom with the gloves still on and go back to working with food! This is so unsanitary and I will be informing the dept of health.

It is a family pizzeria. Smithfield people is very friendly, polite and kind. I moved to RI, and this Beautiful State has everything that I like. My favorite calzone is grilled chicken, meatballs with tomatoes and provolone. There is something great with the dough because I can't find that flavor anywhere else.

My family and I have been ordering from this restaurant for over 20 years. My dad was actually friends with the original owners. So it breaks my heart to have to put this review here but it’s necessary considering the way that my food arrived tonight and the health and safety Issue that goes along with it. Pizza arrived via a delivery courier, who advised me that they did not have part of my order so instead put two cookies that were in their original plastic wrappers on top of my pizza inside the box making contact with the pizza I would have eaten. Hundreds of people could’ve handled those two wrapped cookies prior to me receiving them on top of my pizza inside the box making contact directly with the pizza that I would’ve eaten. This is a major food safety and health issue and I am going to report this to the health inspector for Rhode Island that this is how this restaurant is sending out there food orders to customers. This is absolutely unacceptable especially since we just came through a pandemic to actually think that this is OK to send to a customer. My family and I are completely disgusted with the service tonight from this restaurant and we will never be ordering from them again and we highly recommend the restaurant take more care and effort and how they prepare the food that they’re sending out to customers for deliveries. Also, if they do not have an item, they should be reaching out to the customer to let them know they don’t have that item rather than just substituting it for something else and putting a note saying sorry. If I could have given zero stars I would. I wouldn’t feed my animals this food in the manner it arrived. You could get people very sick putting food together in this manner. Just disgusted.

I was very disappointed the dough from the pizza was very gummy there wasn't enough sauce or enough toppings the wings were OK the lady at the front counter was super sweet and nice

Not only do we love Tony’s as customers. But our kid works there, and she couldn’t ask for better employers. The way Helen and her sweet mom treat their young employees is just exceptional. They are wonderful ladies, who truly love their customers and employees. They are our family for life! ❤️
