I recently got married at twelve acres, I found it to be a reasonably priced venue and the grounds itself are beautiful, inside is a bit outdated. I initially met with Alicia who since left. During that time frame I had asked about a decorator and was referred to a woman by the name of Chanel. Communication in the early months were great with Chanel. Months and weeks leading up to my wedding were not. I felt like I was being "ghosted" by her. Trying to find out what my centerpieces were going to look like was like "pulling teeth." I was told and paid for a backdrop only to show up and not have a backdrop. I also found out that Chanel took my centerpieces back after paying top dollar for them. I had also asked for a wooden arch outside only to show up and have a white metal outdated one. Communication lacked throughout the whole process. I wish I had done more extensive research. If I had to do it over again I would have gone elsewhere.

We were very stressed but bumni was there every step of the way answering all our questions helping with decor and flowers and even getting the bride ready and hidden until it was time. The staff were all great and respectful making our big day perfect.

Just got married here a few weeks ago and it was an amazing day! I was particularly stressed and nervous in the weeks prior and leading up to the ceremony, but Bunmi really helped put my mind at ease in making sure the day was well-orchestrated. We were able to decorate the space ahead of time and had help from Elizabeth who made the most beautiful table settings. Bunmi rehearsed the ceremony steps with us. And major props to the rest of the staff who tended bar, and prepared and served an outrageously delicious buffet. Twelve Acres allowed us to reasonably budget gathering over 70 of our friends and family to celebrate our most special day, and there's nothing I would go back and change!

We held our 20th high school reunion at Twelve Acres earlier this month.
It checked a lot of our boxes: outdoor venue, high attendee cap, reasonable food costs ($26/pp minimum) and location fees (we had previously been looking at a place where we would’ve had to bring our own tent, toilets, linens, chairs— and would have spent roughly what the food minimum was at Twelve Acres before we even got any food for our guests.). The venue allows rentals for five hours with the generous hour and a half set up time before hand, which allowed us great flexibility in timing.
Bunmi was a pleasure to work with. She was able to patiently handle many of our little requests, such as multiple checks and payment sources, storage of items for set up the next day, last minute dietary restriction plate for someone who was gluten-free and vegetarian, as well as special fruit desserts.
We ordered the outdoor picnic and the deluxe cookie platter, The name which doesn’t do it justice. There were cookies, but they were also cannolis macaroons and these amazing cream puff things that I couldn’t get enough of. We had more than enough food for everyone to eat.
With our set up, we did a cash bar, but you can all sorts of arrangements for drinks.
Everyone was comfortable in the pavilion. I was concerned there might be mosquitoes. (they love me) but I never noticed any. The space looked classy.
I highly recommend Twelve Acres for any sort of event where you need to have a large number of people for a reasonable amount of money.

This place is absolutely amazing! Beautiful facility, perfect for pictures, the food was delicious and the chef was able to accommodate food allergies. The staff I can’t not say enough good things about, from the kitchen staff, bartenders, servers, and management they are friendly and so king and helpful. Especially Boomi she went above and beyond to make our wedding day special, added special touches, helped walk us thru rehearsal multiple times, helped keep me in hiding until the time of ceremony, she is the absolute best!
Another awesome event! My daughter’s sweet 16 turned out amazing!!! All of the staff were excellent, thank you again!
