Applebee's Grill + Bar

I have been going to Applebee's for years now . I went for Veterans Day as I am a Veteran . I ordered a burger , it was fantastic. Service was excellent, it was extremely busy the the restaurant was full of fellow Veterans it was nice to see . Thank you Applebee's for treating us to a free meal to honor us .

I love this restraunt and the food.It is always hot and good. However, the service is not always great. Sometimes we get a 10/10 server. Sometimes not. We heard our server go up to all of the other tables introduce herself, say her name get their drink orders etc. Then she comes up to us after 15 mins (a younger group) and go “ do you know what you want or no”. Doesn’t offer us refills, doesn’t check in on us, doesn’t give us boxes, doesn’t ask about dessert. and is quite attentive to her other tables, we watch her go to them multiple times. We are young but tip 20%+ and I don’t understand the discrimination we’ve gotten twice.

went here for lunch today for Veterans Day. Waited 33 minutes for shrimp that were smaller than my fingernails. It was served with coleslaw, which I specifically ordered without because I have a food allergy to eggs so without anything I got up and just left. Very, very, very poor.

I paid $44.87 for the steak and shrimp parmigiana delivered.
It was the worst takeout I have ever had.
I ordered the steak rare, but when I got it was way over cooked very well done, dry and too tough to cut or even chew. The shrimp on top were tiny the size of canned sandwich shrimp. I ordered and paid for extra shrimp on the steak. In total even though I paid for extra shrimp there were only 5 tiny shrimp. The mash potatoes are definitely dehydrated out of a box.
What a disgusting dinner.
It was so bad I took 2 bites and had to throw it in the garbage.
