I've been meaning to leave a review for Bluebird Cafe for a while as it is it's hands down my favorite breakfast spot. I don’t go out for breakfast often, but when I do, it’s always Bluebird. It’s a wonderful family-run place: quick, efficient service and consistently fantastic food. It’s also a special go-to for my dad and me—and they even put up with his terrible dad jokes, which says a lot! 😂

Definitely an interesting concept. Chicken&waffle plate was very hearty for the cost and the peppery maple syrup was a refreshing twist on the classic. Also got some eggs that were cooked perfectly. Just a shame they aren't on any delivery services because theyd do pretty well with the lack of breakfast options on those apps.
We had a great experience here. The people were kind, the food was all delicious (jambalaya hash, huevos rancheros, Cajun benedict, and the sides), and the atmosphere was laid back -- made our morning!

Service was terrible. Waitress was miserable. Food was just okay. Apparently, crispy hash and homefries mean burnt to them. I ordered a grilled English muffin which somehow came out soggy.
