I came in this past weekend and the blonde lady bartending was busy having a conversation with her friends on the side of the bar and they never really checked on us. I then saw Alicia (the owner) dump bar mats in the ice bin... At first, I figured it was the sink. Nope. It was the ice bin.

That was bad. But then the bartender used THAT ice to make two cocktails. I was sick to my stomach. But wait... It gets worse. The bartender grabs some martini glasses, fills them with ice and water to cool them down. When she's done, she dumps the ice and water back in the ice bin. I can't even...

I am glad I didn't eat... Dumping bar mats in the ice then USING that ice in a drink is beyond me. I read a few other reviews about the service here, so I guess I should have known better. The place operates with no managers and clueless owners so what do you expect. This is NOT the experience I was hoping to have... Especially on my birthday. Oh, well. Now I know better. I would encourage you to avoid this place while in Rhode Island.

The duck breast is so tender and delicious and the clam with pork belly is surprisingly good. The onion soup and clam chowder soup are big portions and very good. I didn’t have room to eat the brisket sandwich and had it the next day for lunch and it was delicious. Excellent food and service.

Food was decent but not outstanding extremely small portions and expensive. Almost fell off the chair when we got the bill and the french onion soup appetizer special was 21.00 each. Probably should have asked how much first my husband got the duck confit it wasn't much bigger than a big drumstick. Even after dessert still kinda hungry.

We celebrated our 55th anniversary last night at the Duck Press in Wakefield. It was our first time there and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious, and our server Garrett was so attentive to every detail. I had oysters & the braised ribs French onion soup & my husband had the steak frites prepared to perfection. The only drawback is that the room is small and therefore a little noisy. But that will not deter us from coming back and enjoying the Duck Press again. It is now at the top of our list as one of our favorite restaurants. Thank you for an enjoyable celebration.

Very small menu however it means that they focus on quality for each plate. The food is always good here. They use fresh ingredients and do a great job with each dish.

VERY nice place and food. Maybe too much to ask, but menu could have more offerings.

Fantastic gem in Wakefield. Can't wait to return. The aracini duck/berry rice balls were awesome, the mushroom pate on toasted bread, and of course the duck, were perfectly cooked medium rare and all tasted fantastic. Our waitress Gabby was A++ and all the staff were gracious hosts.

Night started by waiting 1/2 hour for drinks that were not prepared properly and very expensive all the while being repeatedly asked if we were ready to order food. Apps: lobster bisque was just warm and a very small portion. Oysters Rockefeller also just warm although the second order (had to ask where it was) came out ok. Main dishes were just ok. Not memorable and nothing special. We will not be back.

Small portions but the food is of high quality. Our server was friendly and attentive, but too young to recommend or have much knowledge of wines. Adding a sommelier to the staff might be a good idea.

We were 1st time dining clients and were overly impressed. First, Annabelle (a former MOB waitress) was highly skilled, personable and driven to please. One of our dining guest had food restrictions and the Chef came to the table to discuss and followed up with another visit to the table during our dining experience. Over the top attention to detail. Can't wait to go back!

Fit us in ok a busy night, food was incredible. Came out quickly even being very busy. Server was there anytime we needed. Manager came by and insisted on giving more bread for the pate (he was right, we used it all). Have to say the food was the best we had all week in southern Rhode Island.

INCREDIBLE FIND. My husband and I were in the Narragansett area for our anniversary and our friend recommended Duck Press to us - and boy did it not disappoint! Incredible vibes, fun staff, amazing prices and even better food. We split the duck confit spring rolls to start, then I got the Fluke and Curry (omg I could drink that curry sauce with a straw) and my husband got the white sauce bolognese with duck and pork - INCREDIBLE. I got a mocktail, hubby a glass of wine, we split the creme brulee (pro move: sub the coffee ice cream for the berry buttermilk..YUM!) and it all came out to like $110. Incredible all around. I need to go back and try more of their menu. Highly recommend!!

Garret was phenomenal with the service this evening on our first time. Everything was delicious and on point. We definitely will be back.
