Absolutely delicious!! My new favorite restaurant. The service was excellent. The bartender was friendly and made delicious cocktails- the pear martini was especially delicious. I had the duck ramen and my husband had the steak. Everything was outstanding. I highly recommend!!

I had the clam chowder and the Duck Leg Confit Cassoulet and loved them both! Also got to taste the French Onion soup and it was to die for! The mocktails are as good as the cocktails, everything is great about this place!

Bistro type ambiance, subdued lighting but not dim; noise level allows conversation; Wait staff very pleasant and responsive. Food excellent - Duck breast 5*; Short ribs 5*, calamari 5*; desserts choc mousse and cardamom pot de creme delicious flavor which was not overpowering. For a Friday nite the restaurant was not quite full. will return

I have been there twice. It has a great atmosphere, food, and beer selection. Servers are super busy but efficient.

My husband and I have eaten at Duck Press many times, at this point it's now part of our weekly rotation! There are several reasons we love Duck Press: the food is excellent - not only is the quality and execution high level, it's also really important that the restaurant mixes up their menu and has great specials. Duck Press delivers on both and we always enjoy trying the latest options. As much as we enjoy the food, what keeps us coming back every week is their fantastic bar and most importantly their great bartender Sarah! I have a favorite cocktail that she has perfected. Every time we travel I actively look forward to being home and taking our seats at the bar. If it's Wednesday we look forward to seeing Sarah and Frank at the Duck Press for a midweek treat!

FANTASTIC! After being turned away at Purslane (they were having a private event) I spotted this place from across the street, read the menu, whispered f#%k yes and walked in.Beautiful old cafe style ambiance with dark wood and dim lighting. SUPER nice waitress that was patient, and gave great suggestions! All the drinks we ordered were perfect and I had the best clam chowder I've ever had (it had GNOCCHI!!) this is only the second restaurant I've ever been to that had grilled calamari (which was local, yay!) it was tender and I loved the char. The short rib was cooked perfectly and that elote style polenta... wow.I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town!

We love this restaurant for its little plates and its great cocktails… The service is always excellent the bartenders friendly and knowledgeable. I just love that I can munch my way through dinner with tasty small plates, or order a dinner. Great spot.

Great ambiance and staff. Food was just okay for me. The steak was not very tender or flavorful. The panzanella salad was delicious. The rhubarb dessert had a gelatin that was not very appealing. Great cocktails.

Duck Press is great and we will definitely be back. This was our first visit, after a day at the beach. We loved the place immediately- great vibe, friendly staff. We would have been happy to just sit at the bar for a while, and the cocktails were great. The food was hit or miss. For appetizers, the charcuterie board was one of the best we’ve had recently, with delicious house made pate. The panzanella salad was original in its concept, but sadly didn’t really work (a few tomatoes, mostly stone fruit, and Kalamata olives. The fruit and the olives did not play well together). For entrees, both the lobster risotto special and the vegetarian tagliatelle were meh, but the scallops on top of the risotto were absolutely delicious. Even though the food wasn’t all great, I’d recommend the place without hesitation and look forward to trying some of the other menu items.

First time dining at Duck Press in Wakefield. The overall experience was outstanding. Service was excellent - it was very busy, but our server took the time to explain the menu to us and answer any questions we had and graciously allowed us to taste a few beers we were unfamiliar with. All of our dishes were wonderful. One of us even ordered a burger, which was one of the best we have ever had. We will return!
