Just went here for some tacos and got a box full of grease. Quick to ask for a tip when you pay and give you terrible food that will most likely get you sick. Literally the food looked like it was just thrown in the box

My new favorite place to eat in the area! Fresh, authentic, delicious. Maia waited on us ; she was warm and gracious! Monday is burrito Monday and our vegetarian burrito was incredible. The fresh salsa and chips were great. Beautiful sunny interior is an inviting comfy place to dine! No surprise that they won the “best taco in the state” recognition! Sunny indoor area with soft music made dining there extra wonderful. Another customer who comes weekly told us that the outdoor seating is great in the warmer months. I cant wait to try it out!

8 bucks for a taco is EXTORTION. Out of your mind crazy prices for mediocre food. Mic drop
Tacos were fine but not worth the price. Tamales were a mushy, flavorless disaster. Between the prices and the mediocre food no wonder it was dead on Saturday dinnertime.

What a great little place on the East Side of Providence. The staff is friendly and efficient and the food is delicious. We went for the first time when it first opened, there were a few problems they were working out ( their stools went to California instead of RI) but that didn't stop us! We have gone several times and I just joined the VIP and will be going again tonight.

Went for taco fest! Cute little takeout place with outdoor picnic tables and a few stools inside. Polite, patient front of house person (Sunday) No margaritas. Assorted soft drinks. We loved the shrimp taco. Thank you.

I love their burritos especially the Carnitas. They also catered a party and everyone thought it was the finest Mexican food they’d ever had

I really didn't like this place. It's a shack. It has small bar seating. The corn elote was really bad. They wrap it in aluminum so all of your sauces is lost on the wrapper. The corn itself is like corn you would feed livestock. Flavorless and the ends were rotted with several brown kernels on each end. Waste of money since it ruined my appetite. I paid almost $10 for one shrimp taco with three tiny shrimps on it and it smelled extremely off putting and rancid so didn't eat it. The only thing that was edible was the guacamole and tortilla chips.
This is not authentic Mexican food. This is gentrified crap. I would skip it and find somewhere is to eat.

Our second stop on our Saturday Taco crawl took us to Maiz. The shop was decked out for the Halloween season. Inside the place reminds you of a Mexican cantina. Brightly colored flags adorning the ceiling contrasted the sand colored wall. Our server was very nice, letting us know what our options were for the fight. I chose to upgrade mine to pastor tacos as they are my favorite type. My friends got a Birria taco, a shrimp taco and the carnitas taco. It didn't take long before our food arrived. Fresh and hot, we quickly dived in. The pastor was flavorful, a slight char taste that made the whole thing sing a symphony for my taste buds. The shrimp taco was particularly good as well. The shrimp was succulent and the addition of the pineapple took it to the next level. The Birria meat was tender and juicy. The carnitas was a solid choice as well. Their homemade hot sauce, mild or spicy, on the side. All washed down with ice cold Mexican coke. Another taco spot in the books as a place to return. We only live 9 minutes away so it's a sure thing for us!
