Delicious food but know that it is pricey - one ear of corn is $7 and a generic water is $2. Small inside but easy to sit and eat - we had burritos , guacamole and chips, corn and a tinga taco and it was $75. Not a college friendly place for kids on a budget but very good. Not extremely friendly - no greeting when you are in there - what I have come to expect from most places now though. Would go back but not often since it's so pricey but worth trying if you like Mexican food.

I’d venture to say Maiz is the best Mexican food in RI! Authentic, fresh, flavorful and so so enjoyable. Staff is very pleasant, helpful when I’m indecisive, and seem to take pride in their little spot. So happy to have Maiz in south county! My go to order is the shrimp burrito, but really any of them are amazing, and/or the tacos. YUM!

This place is stupid good!! I am simply blown away. This is the real deal. I’m so glad that we have this in Wakefield.The food scene here can sometimes leave something to be desired. We are getting better here in Wakefield though, and this place is a great step in the right direction.
I stopped to get 2 tacos. I went with the fish taco and the birria taco. OMG the birria was amazing. I didn't want to put anything else on it because the flavor was so delicious!! I could eat a bowl of that alone. The soft tacos are soft corn tortillas. I don't normally like corn tortillas but obviously these homemade were not your average tortilla. I will definitely be back.
