THE best beach dive bar anywhere and worth the drive from everywhere. You will immediately feel like a local (who also go there regularly). This place attracts a wide mix of people, ages and demographics. The food is surprisingly excellent. The breakfast omelets are HUGE. Burgers, delicious. And the beer and drinks are excellent and generous. They have live bands (some national acts) and it was awesome to see so many people, young, old and in-between bobbing, dancing and just having fun in the layed back atmosphere. You simply gotta go and experience it for yourself. And the view... sweet!

Coolest bar! Location right at (and even over) the ocean is unbelievable. Food was great. Drinks were poured wonderfully. Servers and bartenders are spectacular. Great post Christmas hangout with family and friends!

The Ocean Mist has always been our favorite beach bar, so hosting a welcome party there on our wedding weekend seemed like a no-brainer. Pat and the rest of the Ocean Mist team was an absolute pleasure to work with, accommodating every request and providing our guests with a true taste of Rhode Island fun as everyone arrived the night before our big celebration. Whether you're looking for a delicious cocktail after a day on the beach, a nice meal with the best ocean view in Rhode Island, a night of live music or a space to host your own special party, you can't go wrong with the Ocean Mist. If your looking for a place where servers seem happy, everyone's friendly and chill, food and drinks are great, well the o'mist is for you. Got married and the next morning we were here for brunch and drinks. 🤙

I was really disappointed by my experience at Ocean Mist. The opening band was fantastic, but the sound guy’s behavior was shocking and unprofessional. During their changeover, he roughly cut them off, started yanking and manhandling their equipment, and was swearing at them on stage. His tone and body language were especially aggressive toward the female band members, to the point where it felt hostile and intimidating, indicating that the other bad reviews siting misogyny at Ocean Mist are accurate. The whole interaction created such an ugly atmosphere that I didn’t even stay for the headliner. I came to enjoy live music, not to watch a great band be disrespected and spoken to like that. Until this venue addresses how its staff treat performers I won’t be back and I can’t recommend it to others.
