This is one of my favorite places to go for lunch and dinner. I’ve been several times and I’ve never been disappointed by the food or service.
My most recent visit my boyfriend and I had their chips & caviar, butternut squash curry soup, smash burger, and their pork sandwich which were all to die for. We also had tasted a few cocktails and their spiked eggnog special was absolutely delicious!
I am gluten free and the staff is always so attentive and accommodating and although they are not a dedicated gluten free kitchen I’ve never gotten sick afterwards.
It is so nice to see a locally owed place doing well and serving up delicious food. Can’t wait to return for another delicious meal.

Oh em gee. Where do I even begin. This place is my favorite! From the simple side salad to their entrees, this place has my mouth watering. I be moaning and groaning after every bite. The chicken sandwich, TO DIE FOR. The chicken milanese. WOWZA! Best caesar salad ever. The oysters, oh my, I could slurp down 30 of them. The kimchi is a nice touch. Enough about the food, the waiters, are so nice. The atmosphere, that ish got me giddy, it is so gorg, love the plants, love the lighting. 10/10. I wish I was not as broke as I was or I would be there every night.

The space is stunning and every single dish we got was amazing! There were 4 of us and there were zero complaints. We even had a vegan with us who had options. The service was excellent and although they were very busy we did not feel at all rushed. So cute and cozy. Will be back!!!!

Purslane is what all gastropubs should strive to be. I live on Long Island but try to find excuses to always stop by Purslane even if it's an hour out of my way. If I'm driving to Providence or Boston, it's worth the detour and if you're going to Newport, it's a crime not to eat here.
The creative, beautiful dishes are affordable with a little Asian spicy kick to them. The cozy dinning room and bathroom with whimsical wallpaper make the ambience enjoyable or, if the weather permits, the sidewalk dining by firepit with a local beer makes for a fun time with your group.
No question deserving of a Bib Gourmand rating, this gem of a restaurant would have a monthslong waiting list if located in Boston or NYC.

Very rude people. I was there yesterday and so rude. Food is horrible. Place look nice from outside but when you go inside they treat you like hell. They want you to eat very fast so they can empty the table for the next customer. They do not allow to use the restroom even if you waiting for your text to get a table. Do not recommend!

Addicted to their smoked bluefish dip - have ordered 2 servings to go as my dinner before if that tells you something 😅 everything else is phenomenal as well. One of my local favorites since they opened!! Beautiful interior and design.
