Always a fancy 'date night' dinner here. I tend to order one of the specials whenever I dine here, as all the meals on the menu are simply delicious. The Veal Parm is one of my favorites around, if you like Eggplant - you won't be disappointed with any of their plates here! (Trust me, I try my wife's dinner every time lol)
We had another wonderful special occasion dining experience at Trattoria Romana Wakefield.Our server, Danielle, was highly attentive, patiently listened to and answered our menu and wine list questions. The manner in which the meal was paced was perfect. Not rushed, not too slow, just perfect!The food was incredible! Always consider the specials. We had an appetizer special and two dinners off of the menu. The management comped us two glasses of prosecco for our special occasion. Every employee was cheerful, not intrusive and contributed to the excellence of our visit.

We arrived early and was going to have a drink at the bar and the lady at the reservation desk insisted that we had to sit now so they would have time to turn the table for a 7pm reservation. Very rude.
Food was fantastic, and a very welcoming atmosphere. No free refills on soda (unless our waitress, who was great, just accidentally put it in wrong) which I found a bit strange, especially for the glasses which are very small and filled mostly with ice. Overall great experience, good chunks of lobster in the mac and cheese which is rare. Will be back

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at Trattoria Romano in Wakefield. Ambiance is warm and comfortable. The host was pleasant and very accommodating. Veal Sorrentino and Veal Parmigian were delicious. Prices remain reasonable. It's one of our favorite spots for dinner!!
Our stuffed mushrooms were bland, with barely any crab meats, mostly gooey stuffing. The chicken was dry. The waitress told us we had to leave because there was another reservation for our table. We were only there for 80 minutes. I've never had that happen before. We won't go back for that reason alone.

One of our favorite restaurants due to the food and service. Our latest visit to enjoy the Chicken Parm and Veal Sorrentino was up to their high standards. Wine selection and Cocktails add to the reasons we frequent often. I did notice a slight increase in prices since last time but appetizing food makes it easier to accept. I suggest that every cup of coffee is made fresh and to avoid serving coffee that has been on the warmer for any period of time!

Food and service were excellent. I was mildly annoyed that because we had to change our reservation number from a 4 to a 2 because people cancelled the day before. When changing that number, we were not allowed to keep our time. It felt like a punishment! Then after making our reservation, we got a call that day to confirm. She stated I needed to call back to keep my reservation... That felt weird. Maybe they have had people just not show up or something. It just felt like some work and unnecessary anxiety just to have dinner there.

Lovely dinner with friends. Trattoria offers an extensive menu with daily specials and a robust wine list. Almost too many choices, but ample room to return and try something else! Staff was extremely warm and welcoming making us feel like family.
Outstanding dinner as always. We arrived 30 minutes early intending to have a drink in the bar before dinner but the host graciously seated us early so that we didn't have to move from the bar to the restaurant.

Food and service were both very good to excellent. We sat right next to host station and all we heard was phone ringing and hair talking with people for reservations etc I would suggest turning ringing volume way down and using a led light indicator instead. Also host talking in another area.

We dine here every Valentine's Day. The food was very good. My key lime martini was tasty but very weak, tasted more like lime juice, so won't order that again. The ambiance could have been better. The noise level was great, but the table was very small and tables for 2 were lined up next to each other where we were seated and were too close to other diners, so that deterred from the evening a little. Also, would have been nice if the table had a candle or a red rose on it.

Trattoria Romana in Wakefield is one of our favorite restaurants. The food is always consistent and the service is top-notch. Portions are large and a great value for the price. This is our Go-To restaurant!
