I loved everything at Barcellos! I went last night to have dinner with a friend. I had the chicken broccoli Alfredo, it was delicious. The moment we walked in the door we were greeted and made to feel genuinely welcome. The service was supreme and the food was perfection. I definitely recommend checking it out. I will being going back for sure!

Barcellos Family Restaurant is a hidden gem known for its authentic Portuguese cuisine. The building has recently undergone a makeover, creating a family-friendly atmosphere. The dining area is not large, featuring a bar that is much brighter and cleaner than an actual bar, along with a row of sit-down tables and a private room for functions. The staff provides efficient service, regularly checking on guests and ensuring they have what they need. The menu offers a variety of dishes, including steak plates, Portuguese steak, chicken wings, fish and chips, sirloin sandwiches, and Portuguese soup. While portions are on the smaller side, the prices remain reasonable. Visitors often praise the friendly service and quick meals, especially enjoying the delicious chicken broccoli Alfredo and French fries. The restaurant also has a good mix of local South Coast Portuguese and some Italian dishes, all prepared nicely. The owner is known to greet guests at their tables, adding a personal touch to the welcoming atmosphere. Reservations are recommended, especially for special days like Easter, and guests appreciate the clean and inviting space. While some dishes, like clam chowder, may not meet expectations, the fried seafood plate and whole belly clams receive high praise. Overall, Barcellos Family Restaurant is a place worth trying, promising a satisfying meal.
