Luke’s Inn is hands down the best Chinese restaurant within a 50-mile radius.
I’ve been eating here for over five years now, and I have to give them credit, they are remarkably consistent. Every time we visit, the food quality is the same: hot, fresh, and flavorful. I’ve personally never had a single quality issue, which says a lot (though of course, nobody’s perfect).
If you’re someone who loves eggs or bean sprouts in your fried rice, just a heads-up: their rice doesn’t include either. I do wish they added those, but honestly, I still enjoy it for what it is.
The sweet and sour chicken is absolutely perfect crispy, golden chicken pieces that are amazing to dunk in their addictively good sauce. The crab rangoons are always delicious and never burnt. They’re wrapped in a way that’s not overly bulky, so you could even pop one in your mouth whole (if that’s your style). And the egg rolls? They’re the best I’ve ever had. Period.
Excellent place, can’t get enough of Luke’s. Definitely stop by!

Good food but the prices on menu are lower then they actually charge
I ordered my food and they came out with it 5 minutes later.. Lo mein was so stale. Never again.

Hot and sour soup was like a very salty gravy with crumbled pork. Nasty.
The boneless spareribs were big chunks of 85%fat...nasty
The chicken chow mein was a pile of soggy egg noodles..worst I've ever had.
The chicken teriyaki was good.
The waitress was very good and got a big adios tip
Won't be back

They make the best General Tso's. Big fat chunks of white meat and no nasty chewy bits or biting into empty crust like other places. The beef and broccoli is very tender as well. All big portions.

I have been going to Luke's Inn for well over 30 years for take-out and dine- in. My recent visit will be my last. Two weeks ago I ordered a few items, a small chow mein being one of them. After getting home we realized they didn't give us the noodles. No big deal.... so we called and they said we'll give it to you next time.
Fast forward 3 weeks and we went for lunch. On the way out we mentioned the small chow mein. He took out our slip and he said "no, you ordered chop suey." I disagreed as I have never ordered chop suey my whole life....I'm a chow mein person. He negated what I had to say insisting they read back the order on the phone, which they didn't, and did not offer any resolution.
You would think for 8.00 they would make it right. I don't think a small is even 8.00. So they lost more than that fee because we won't be going back. The steamed vegetables for lunch that day were practically raw and it took us numerous times to explain what we wanted to the waitress since she had some difficulty understanding. But we took that in stride and continued.
So, was it worth losing a long time customer over a small chow mein? There are many Chinese American restaurants in the area. We will find a new one.

We went tonight. Sat down, waited 20 minutes looking at menu…. Decided what we wanted and watched the waitress go to a table that had just been seated and take their order before we even got served drinks! Absolutely disgusted. We haven’t gone in a long time because they just haven’t been good. Decided to give them another chance and boy was that a bad mistake! It’s such a shame, cause they used to be so good. I should have taken my last experience as a sign. 😭😡
Food was great, service is always fantastic. There's 2 brother I always see working. Friendly, and it seems they have a lot of regulars, as they seem to know a lot of people by name.
I came in specifically for the linguica rice. It was fantastic ?

I love Luke's Inn When I am not making excessive use of the bathroom in the store I am usually ordering 65 orders of General Tao's chicken and immediately sending myself into diabetic shock. The store is not very wheelchair accessible and when I brought my morbidly obese friend there I tried to feed him outside the store in a storm and he was struck by lightning and died.
Overall,I think Luke's Inn is an affordable and good choice of a restaurant. Good Job!
