“Simply horrendous!! The appetizers tasted old, Dinner was cold, BLAH!! Asked the bar for cranberry juice and got Hawaiian Punch!! Took over 3 hours for all of the courses to be served. Finally, the coffee was brought out! Yes, you guessed it—COLD AND OLD!! We never got dessert. Told waitress my husband didn’t feel well and I asked her if we could get a couple of pastries to go, she refused! Paid $40 X 2!! An awful lot of money for high priced garbage and service that took well over 3 hours to complete!!“

“I recently had my baby shower at The Cafe and could not recommend them enough for any shower, meeting or event needs. First, Mike was a pleasure to work with. The communication was always constant and thorough. He was extremely helpful in the planning process. The place looked amazing on the day of the shower and the staff was so friendly and accommodating. Frank and Kim were the staff members on during my shower and they were amazing. I wish I had another need to use them for but will definitely use them again when the opportunity presents itself! The food was delicious and everyone at my shower could not stop raving about it. It made my baby shower perfect!“

“7/19/25 was our wedding day. We had approximately 8-weeks to plan. We had a back yard wedding so we chose to have buffet style meal. The planner I dealt with made it so easy, I knew what I wanted,changed it up a few times. She was super accommodating.The food and the staff was AMAZING. The 2 gentlemen who we had ( I thought we just to serve our food) did more than that. They served coffee and cake that I brought myself, cleaned up guest tables, none of which was on my contract. “Super happy to work with O’shucks catering through Providence Oyster Bar in East Greenwich. Sean (O’Shucks) came to our house and set up raw oysters on ice. It was really cool! Everyone at our party commented on how fun it was to have the raw oysters set up in the middle of our kitchen. We also ordered cod Bianco, potatoes, Brussel sprouts, edamame, lobster rolls, and salad. Everything was great! I would recommend them to my friends and family and I would definitely hire o’shucks again when I do another catered event.“
