Oh my gosh, these empanadas are amazing! I had the cheesy gaucho and it was absolutely delicious. They aren't the largest empanadas, so I recommend getting two, and they aren't over-priced like most airport food.

Stale chicken empanadas that just tasted stale. Chicken was bland nothing else in there just chicken and the pastry tasted off. Waited a bit for service, staff was friendly enough and a lot of supply was gone granted end of the day. Don’t recommend , also $7 is a lot for a small empanada

Fast and delicious! Open early (was open when we got to the airport at 6am) and located right after you clear security.
Fast and friendly service and the empanadas are delicious! A good casual way to lounge at the airport with good food and a hot drink.

These are so bland. Nearly gross. Don’t expect anything even approaching spicy from any of the “spicy” options. The cheesy gaucho almost approached having some sort of flavor but it’s mostly like chewing on cardboard. Service is super slow for an airport where everyone is in a rush, but they were friendly.

The absolute driest empanadas I’ve ever had. The filling in the spicy chicken is dry and can’t compensate for the dry pastry. I had the spicy chicken empanada and the dulce de leche. The pastry was the same on both. The dulce de leche filling had a burned taste, like they cooked the filling too long. Also, when I paid with my card, I didn’t have an option to not leave a tip. Their system literally would not allow me to check out using my card without inputting a tip amount. To make matters worse, three employees stood at the register and told me I could leave a tip, which is very off-putting. It’s a rare occasion when I tip at a counter-service fast food place. 5 stars for atmosphere only because it looks nice and the seating is taken care of with the airport and was clean. If I could rate this place using less than 1 star, I would.

Terrible service - waited for a minute and nobody came out to take my order. Came back later and the worker said “one minute”, so I stood there while they slowly cleaned and organized before taking my order. Spinach filling was decent, needed more salt. Spicy chicken was really dry and mostly flavorless. The dough is so soft and chewy, I wouldn’t even really call them empanadas. Price is okay for hot airport food.

More expensive than I would have thought for what you get. No dipping sauce. Still hungry, I went to Providence Provisions after and had an awesome breakfast burrito. Try there instead.
What on earth did I just put in my mouth? It tastes like a spicy sloppy Joe in an undercooked pizza dough. Why empanadas Providence??? Why??? At least get some salsa if you’re going to swing at empanadas. Stick to what you’re good at. I’m so sad and hungry. :( Also, the entire 1-9 terminal smells like cigarettes. Tell someone.

Had the spicy beef, spicy chicken, regular chicken, and guava empanadas. Jesus, these are so commercially-made they shouldn’t be considered empanadas. All of them were extremely dry and lack and sauce or cheese. Not even a side of sauce to get some moisture with them. Dough was lackluster as well. No crisp at all. Def don’t recommend.
