Ordered a General Tso's dinner combination. When I got there an old guy sitting in a car in the parking lot got out of his car and followed me in. He asked me what I ordered and told the cashier to charge me $12.69. Then they asked how I would pay; I told them I was paying cash. The receipt was placed on the counter and I could see it was $11.75 (pretty common for Chinese takeout places around here to give cash discount). Cashier gave me $7.50 change from a $20, took the receipt off the counter, crumpled it up, and threw it away. Shame on me, I had even left a buck in the tip jar. When I got home the dinner was 80% rice. There is better food nearby and the poeple selling it won't cheat you. This was the first and last time I'll do business here.

FOOD IS GREAT.Only problem is seems like owner needs more help answering phones and cooking food.But he's a cool dude so whatever.Edit:Guy has to stop handing out wrong food without telling people.Ordered chicken teriyaki.When I get there he say he doesn't have it only has beef.3rd time he did this.Didnt even complain but the beef teriyaki sucked.Uncalled for.5 stars down to 2.

The couple who now own this place are so incredibly kind and pleasant. We have ordered there a few times, and every time they make sure our order is correct before we leave. The food is delicious as well!

Happy Garden is the best Chinese restaurant in RI! Nime chow was amazing and really big! Also big portions in general. Staff is kind and generous! Will be back often. Thank you so much.

The Crab Rangoon were underfilled, so they had airy pockets. They do obviously properly change their fryer oil, so that's a plus.The lo mein was good, but they used flat noodles, which was weird. It wasn't the Chinese egg noodles I was expecting. The wings in oyster sauce was pretty good. The egg rolls didn't have much meat in them, so they were more like a spring roll. The fried dumplings were obviously way past overdone. They even smelled burnt. We still tried them. Taste wise they were somewhat bland and too greasy. The only sauce I saw for the dumplings tasted pretty much like plain soy sauce. The miso soup tastes like straight up seaweed. We ordered delivery. DELIVERY TOOK MORE THAN TWO HOURS! Just ok food can be acceptable, but when you say 30 minutes to an hour for delivery, two hours is way too long. Not worth it. I won't be ordering from them again.

Short version: adequate but not spectacular, and avoid delivery.

Update: We were both sick the next morning. The only thing we both ate was from this place.

I honestly don't know why this is rated at a 3.2 star. The food is honestly really good. Best I've had in Warwick to date and I've tried all the "good" places lol

An older, exceptionally pleasant couple are the new owners of this restaurant. I wasn’t overly pleased with the food from the previous owner but new owners are exceptionally inviting and provided the Best local Chinese food I have had in a long time. I walked in and was immediately greeted By the owner and his wife. They genuinely wanted to be sure that my order was 100% to my liking and if I had any concerns to please contact him right away. I did not have to because it was amazing. Again, previous owners and their food? Not the best. The new coupler on it? Exceptional food and service. I highly recommend.
