He insisted that it would be worth the drive from Rochester, MA (my location) to Cranston, raving, “It’s the BEST!” and promising me that I won’t be disappointed. I’ll tell you this… he was not wrong!! From the sushi, to the service… A++++ Their entire staff is full of joyous energy and are super on top of everything. It’s so refreshing to see a place of business full of an entire group of people all working so wonderfully together. Looking around the restaurant, all you could see was a place full of love, though and through. Our waiter, Tony, was SUCH a sweetheart. At the end of dinner, Tony truly showed his appreciation to Scotty for being a valued customer for so long by treating us to one of their most delicious bottles of saké, on the house. I came here a few other times. I forgot how good this place was until I came back again today. The people are so nice. It’s so sad how this place is hidden and lowkey because the food is so amazing!!! They deserve more recognition.
I got a shrimp tempura and before Ive had their poke bowls and gyozas… when I tell you I haven’t been able to find a good authentic sushi spot in Rhode Island until now. I had already given them a tip BUT after eating, I had to go back in to give an even bigger tip!!!
I talked to the people as well and they’ve been open for 17 years. The people are from Haruki. They are really such good and genuine people and you can tell they make their food with love.

“We Ordered dinner from China Gourmet tonight through Grubhub. When my dinner was delivered I realized I had accidentally ordered the wrong item through the Grubhub app. I called the restaurant to ask if I could bring back the wrong item for the correct item. Not only did they tell me to keep the incorrect item, but to stay home and they would deliver an entire complimentary meal of the correct item as a courtesy. Not only great food but great customer service !“

“Really enjoyed the offering they have including make your own Ramen they were heavy if you have two. Sakura milk tea was so good it had hint of cherry blossoms even better if you got them with tapioca pearls. A staff at the holiday Inn Theodore Francis Green Airport recommended this to us.
