Mizu Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Bar

We wanted to go out for Hibachi and our usual place has become outrageously expensive so we figured that we would give Mizu a try. Boy are we glad that we did!!! The price was reasonable, the food was absolutely outstanding (my family all agreed that it was probably the best Hibachi that any of us has ever had), and the service was fantastic!! Everyone was very friendly and the chef was exceptional. He was so entertaining, great with both the adults and the kids, and really seemed to enjoy what he was doing. It was very clean and was a very comfortable, relaxing atmosphere. We have definitely found our new Hibachi place and highly recommend it! (Also - the sushi looked amazing and we will be back to try that as well :))

I had eaten here several times before and was very happy up until my last visit. The fish I received on my sushi sashimi combo was sub par at best. Cuts that should have been tender were rubbery. The taste was off on several other fish. As much as I love supporting local businesses I'm going to wait a while before giving them a second chance.

Wanted to try a new Hibachi place. Did not disappoint. The outdoor upkeep may not be the greatest. The servings are well portioned and meat cooked to a proper temperature. After visiting other Hibachi locations, the Chef/Cook really stood out for making sure everyone was enjoying themselves. While also making sure to make the meals as requested. The one thing, the soup was served cold. Didn’t complain just ate it, since it was room temperature. The meat was cooked medium rare and had chicken teriyaki with fried rice. . Tried the lovers special, great value for 2. Served with hibachi meal and desert. Would recommend for a Hibachi visit than ordering as by the looks of it. Doesn’t look like they do a good job on take out.

Went for a birthday celebration, and had an amazing time! Prices are great, food was delicious, and the chef was fun, energetic, and very skilled. Their drinks were also great and well priced.

For food, we tried the crab rangoons, clear soup, salad, and edamame for appetizer. Crab rangoons were warm and delicious (a little more cream cheese than crab), and the rest of apps were fresh and tasty.

For hibachi, we got the steak, chicken, and shrimp. All were cooked and seasoned perfectly! Highly recommend!

Saw in passing that this restaurant might have gluten free options (never required or expected). Called ahead and asked if they can accommodate a gluten allergy. They openly invited it and said it's no problem. I get there and confirm again, the host and server both tell me the fried rice is safe and prepared separately with gluten free soy sauce. I'm violently sick today and there's nothing I can do but be stuck, violently sick and immunocompromised because this restaurant decided several times to advertise that they can accommodate an allergy when they clearly can't.Food was a 5/10.

Our server, whose name I unfortunately didn't get, was so incredible to us and our baby girl on her birthday. She made her balloon art and brought out fried ice cream and was super kind throughout the visit. Thank you Mizu! Your staff is amazing.I hope our server reads this, because baby Alison absolutely loved you. You helped make her birthday so special and we are so appreciative for your kindness.

absolutely ridiculous pricing and portions for some of there menu items. i could get a whole hibachi meal for $17 but i only wanted a side of shrimp. it came out to $12 and i was more then happy to pay expecting to have a whole order of shrimp, only to have 5 shrimp. i could’ve bought a whole wheel at the market.

The bartender is also the server for half the restaurant so they will never get to you at the bar.
