The service at Tavolo in Warwick was attentive & efficient. Lovely dinner and comfortable atmosphere. Menu offers a variety of plates at very reasonable prices.
Had a reservation. We waited 30 minutes to be seated. It was a disaster from the get go. Food was passable. Service was horrendous.
By far, the most tasteless food I've ever eaten. Everything from the pasta, to the steak, to the shrimp scampi, tasted like nothing. Literally not a pinch of salt was added to anything. Its a true mystery how a restaurant was able to accomplish this feat. The fact that we spent 100 plus dollars on textured air was beyond disappointing. And the hostess was rude. Everything was hot and fresh though, but that's about it. If zero stars was an option this place would get it. I wish I could dispute the charge on my credit card as fraud, because this is not food.
What a gem! Go!! The food was fantastic and plentiful. We went to the restaurant in Warwick. The wine menue was extensive. My husband had the Osso Bucco and i had soup (I've been sick). The soup was perfect! One of the reasons I mentioned the soup is it was inexpensive, so below 20 30 price range is higher than we payed.
So amazing, AMAZING, AMAZING! everything felt like it was home made with care. Jess at the bar made awesome martinis and was attentive!
Get dessert! Key lime!
Great people and great food. You can't go wrong here. Thomas is the best.
Dedent enough experience
The bartender Jess was great . The food was delicious 𤤠and the service was wonderful. Thank you Jess for giving us a great place to eat drink talk .
I got a Groupon for this place and was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to find. The food and service were great!
TERRIBLE!!!! We went for Valentineās Day, big mistake. We put in the calamari for an appetizer and it was out in less than 3 minutes, yet still cold. The place was barely full, but we felt rushed to order. And when we did order, again it came out far too fast. Shocking that Iām complaining about fast service, but when you order a steak you donāt want it to come out 4 minutes later. Everything we ordered felt like it was microwaved, the atmosphere was terrible, the service was terrible, it was an all around terrible experience. If I could give 0 stars I would.
Restaurantji Recommends
Went to the Tavolo's in Warwick during Providence restaurant week and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. I started with a meatball appetizer on top of polenta, which I enjoyed very much, followed by osso bocco on top of seasonal risotto, which blew my mind and taste buds. I plan to go back to this restaurant just for this dish. I finished my meal with a key lime tart, which was absolutely delicious, and I was told that it was made in-house. The server, Wilson, was professional and attentive. I would highly recommend this place. There is plenty of free off-street parking in their large parking lot.
Had chicken parmesan for the 2nd time, irst time was good this time, very tough and pasta was too aldente..
My wife and I always have a great time here at the bar. Jess is the best bar tender you can ask for. Always freindly service and great food and drinks.
Awful awful from beginning to end. Sat at a makeshift table with zero light AT ALL. Took waiter minimum 20 minutes to come take out drink order and about 10 minutes later was brought over a flat soda. Ordered 2 specials and was told they were out of lobster tail and we were fine with that and chose scallops. Waited over an hour for food to come and waiter never once came over to check in on us or give an update on food. Bill comes and we were still charged full price for dish that shouldāve had lobster tails and was replaced with baby scallops. NEVER EVER AGAIN would I come to this place
Went Christmas day. It's a tough day for anyone that has to work but it becomes really difficult for a wait person when they have to tell tables they've run out of a special (that ls also on the menu, but with a few additions) Filet Mignon at 2:30 on a holiday. Don't put it on the specials sheet if you don't have enough product. Big mistake by the Chef. I've been cooking professionally for almost 40 yrs. It ain't easy I get it but you should plan accordingly. My wife wanted the filet but had to settle on the Lobster Rav. I got the flat iron steak frites. Steak was raw one side and med well the other. I asked for med rare. Fries were supposed to be house cut truffle fries. Absolutely zero truffle flavor. Looks like they used cheap truffle salt which has almost no taste, and this had no taste. Dissapointed. I know holidays are tough but if you decide to do it you have to try to get it right.
