Nana's Westerly

I think their food is fantastic and I love that their menu is constantly rotating. One of the few constant is there Caesar salad, which is one of my favorite Caesar salad in the region. I can’t figure out what is in the dressing and I’ve tried to replicate it many times. I’ve tried many of their pizzas but I appreciate the simpler ones the best with just fresh mozzarella and basil over the fancy ones. And their fresh pasta with unique sauces are always a go to. They make really fun and creative cocktails, my favorite being the recent summer one I had with a cube of coconut milk that melted away and changed the flavor of the cocktail as it went along. Loved that!

The unacceptable dirtiness of their production facility (moldy equipment, contaminated food, mouse droppings, dirty aprons used to cover food) exhibits a total lack of respect for their staff and customers.

Been hearing a lot about Nana's and finally stopped for a croissant and chai tea. Though the service was friendly and quick the croissant was more doughy than flakey and the chai was mediocre at best. Considering the price point I was expecting better.

Wonderful breakfast from start to finish! The staff were attentive, kind, friendly, and happy to explain the favorites. It was such a nice way to spend post Xmas. We left feeling as though we had just scratched the surface...

We went here for a date night dinner and it was perfect. We’ll definitely be back. We shared the sourdough plate which on its face is just simple bread and butter but is mind blowingly good. So much flavor. The bolognese was the best I’ve had in my life. Atmosphere is 10/10 with candle lit romantic vibes. I was surprised by the affordable prices even.

Sarrah, our server, made our evening an absolute delight. The food was superb and Sarrah made some wonderful suggestions. The drinks were made well, with fresh squeezed juices (which makes a difference)! The atmosphere and cleanliness of the entire restuarant, pared with the delicious food, dinks and service makes this one of our favorite spots to go to!!

Had another awesome breakfast. The Bacon Egg and Cheese was crunchy, chewy, and tasty all in one bite. The Tofu Scrambler was delicious and savory. And the drip coffee was fresh and balanced, we added oat milk. Will be back again!

Waited 45mins for a small pepperoni pizza. Waitress never offered refills or an update. Was given attitude when I asked for it to go. Ordered breakfast sandwiches from here over the summer and it was less than desirable. Pizza wasn't even good 😕

We ordered a small pizza and it took over 45 minutes to come out. The waitress with short black hair was rude off the bat, never told us there was a preexisting catering order that would delay our order. She never checked up on us once, never offered a refill, and gave us attitude after asking for the pizza to be put in a box to go. Oh and she never said bye or have a nice day, nothing. Absolutely rude. This isn’t the first bad experience here, it’s such a shame.
