My husband and I and our dear friends had dinner at the Haversham last weekend. A wonderful experience. As a young girl , I grew up on the Hillandale Farm which is very close to the Tavern. It was wonderful to see all of the references to Westerly on the menu. We went last night for a birthday celebration...very disappointed!!! Waiter either was new or inexperienced. He didn't bring table settings until we asked for plates and napkins. We ordered appetizers, one came cold the other was burnt. Waited well over an hour for our dinners. Others that came in well after us were served before our party. When we finally were served after questioning what was the delay, only one serving was hot. The rest, that weren't sandwiches were overcooked...read full review
I called at 3 pm right when they opened to make sure prime rib was on the menu and could call at 8pm for take out they said yes. my wife and I have a sitter for the first time in months and I have candles and rose petals everywhere and had it all planned out for when she gets out of work at 9 and now I call for takeout and they said we're not doing takeout it's now 8 pm and I'm scurrying to find somewhere to get takeout after calling to confirm I could order there. super pissed...read full review
