Outstanding! I was back for dinner last weekend with my wife. We had the firecracker starter, honey lavender salmon, and of course the burger, which were all cooked to perfection. The chef delivers every time and Tara makes an amazing martini. They have become our year-round go-to in all of Westerly. Having not dined here in about 8 years due to menu we decided to try it again. With these new owners, redecorating and a better menu, it was a great decision. We did Saturday evening with reservations, right on time and dining room was quite busy. We chose to sit in bright room with bar and windows all around. Waitress Tara was good and quite attentive. Probably best French onion soup I've had.....and I order it whenever it's on the menu. Piping hot, lots of onions. Sancerre French white was refreshing Baked cod, clean and simple Saturate on the patio Very relaxing vibe Waitress Katlyn was v friendly and efficient

Shelter Harbor Inn's Restaurant offers a very nice atmosphere, with a charming room featuring a fireplace and a beautiful outdoor area. The food is great, with a nice selection of entrees, really good salads, wines, and cocktails. Specific meals mentioned include the salmon, which was good, and the shrimp and grits, also good but not great. The calamari and sweet potato nests were enjoyed. The fried squash was deep fried and greasy and not recommended. The best martini is available. The waitstaff is always delightful, flexible, and professional, though one waitress was distracted. The bar can be a bit loud. Overall, the dining experience is top notch, with food cooked perfectly and impeccable service.
