A fun summer spot outdoors to enjoy good food, live music, and an outdoor bar w several TV's to enjoy the daily sports. They have a ton of comfy seating options, picnic benches, and you can also bring your own chairs. There's volleyball and corn hole. Reasonably priced food and drinks. Relaxed atmosphere.
We were looking for a local restaurant during our visit to Westerly. The Haversham menu seemed like a good fit for us. The food was tasty and the atmosphere was that of a sports bar. The restaurant was under construction during our visit, so, finding the correct entry was a bit confusing as the signage was cryptic. We went to the Tavern after a day at the beach. Although we needed to wait about 30 minutes, it was worth it. The wait staff was charming and took time to explain items on the menu. The atmosphere was infectious! A lively group was seated next to us under the tent and the night ended with singing and dancing. Thank you to the staff and manager/DJ for what was "the most fun dinner we've ever had".
