“The first of many times I've eaten there I applied for a part-time weekend job because the atmosphere is relaxed & fun. It's both a friendly neighborhood "hotspot" and a tourist stop in a quaint historic town.
Vegetarian options: The menu isn't predominantly vegetarian but there are options.
Dietary restrictions: Anything can be made to your specifications as long as the ingredients are available.
Parking: Parking on the street, behind the restaurant, on the square about 50 feet away, and in a large city parking lot behind the entire block on the opposite side of the narrow street.
Kid-friendliness: There's not a kid's menu, but there are kid friendly options, and the staff are mostly parents who are good with kids. It's a part of the Ghost Tour, because of the access to the Underground Railroad Tunnel in the basement. Older kids will find this both fun & educational.
The kitchen closes at 9, so after 9, the bar, music & sports programming are the main attractions. It's not seedy, but it CAN get loud, and there's nothing your kids are going to want to do.
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes. There are ramps all along the square, on the sidewalks leading from the city parking lot, and there's a ramp leading directly into the restaurant from the street. The parking behind the restaurant is unfinished and not a place you would want to navigate a wheel chair.“
