Came to Abbeville, 30 minutes away from home, to eat at Village Grill. Treated rudely, anyway, Googled this place and was not disappointed. I got salmon stuffed, more like covered, with artichoke sauce. Omg it was delicious! I could have ate double what they sent out! Shrimp on top was delicious! My fried okra was a little too salty for my taste, but I ate every bit! Waitress and staff were super nice! And the atmosphere is just perfect for a romantic date night! We will be back,...
The JP restaurant is located directly behind the Belmont hotel check in desk. We had a little extra wait for the food, but the food was fabulous. Each of the waiters & waitresses were delightful. My wife & I will come again!
We stayed at the Belmont and decided to have dinner downstairs at JP’s. I had the chicken fried chicken with Okra and mashed potatoes with gravy. The hubs had their Ribeye. Everything was cooked perfectly. The okra was the best I have had in a while. For dessert we had the Key Lime Pie. ABSOLUTE HEAVEN!! This pie was so creamy and smooth. There was none of the tart, suck your cheeks into your face and cry, taste. Hindsight I should have asked if they sold the pies. I definitely...
