Been looking forward to this visit all week. I'd heard they had renovated, but they kept it charming and full of character. And the dogs, son, you don't even need to ask. They aren't snappy dogs. But they top them very generously. And the chili is just right, tangy, meaty enough. Love this place.
Love the historic building! Great signage inside. You order at the counter and pay after you eat, which was different. Trusting. We got the lunch special: 2 dogs all the way, chips, and a can drink. $9 per person, reasonable. They have a large selection of drinks and chips to choose from, including some gourmet ones. The hotdogs were great with chili, mustard, onions and hot sauce!
