This is my favorite place to eat Salvadorian food. Lots of options to choose from and very authentic. You can hear them making the pupusas and tortillas in the back. Great atmosphere and really nice people. The menus are both in Spanish and English. Food and drinks are really good. It reminds me of being down in Central America. Awesome place and prices are good.
I eat pupusas in California 2x a month, easily. Imagine my joy when I saw that Aiken has a Pupususeria! I'm here for the month and miss certain things I enjoy at home.
The young man running the place was attentive and polite. My food was ready and blazing hot, within 15 minutes. Pupusas are an a la carte item and can take up to 20 minutes to make from scratch.
The only, and I mean only critique I had was the curtido (cabbage salsa) that I'm used to has more oregano. That's just what I'm used to.
At home they are $4.50 each. These were (I think) $3.25. $3.25 for dinner cannot be beat.
If you are from South Carolina and never tried pupusas, try them! I didn't look too deeply at the menu because I already knew what I wanted. I did notice tres leches (the best cake) and rice pudding. If you're from California and feeling homesick, like me, stop by.

We really enjoyed our stop at this small family style restaurant that specializes in El Salvador food! The server recommended the regional dish, the Pupuseri and we really enjoyed them with the cabbage side. The artwork on the walls showing pictures in the clouds was enjoyable. So glad we grabbed the empanadas for the road, they were very good!

Used to be my favorite place in town to get a Cuban/Puerto Rican food new owner took out all the good things I liked about the menu. Example arroz con habichuelas, arroz con gandules, bistec with the onions, el budín for dessert, and what really got to me was the sandwich criollo. I understand that’s not the nationality they are going for, but man I sure miss it, I been back a couple times for some tacos and pupusas but just not the same.

Excellent! All the food is fresh! The pupusas are authentic and the yuca and plantains were cooked just right. The flavors are so well done and the tomato sauces for dipping are an excellent addition. The staff is very friendly and helpful with suggestions. Sit back and enjoy a tasty authentic meal.
