Used to go there quite a bit, but I could see the service and food quality declining each time we went. Abruptly closed their doors in Jan, 2020. Hoping T-bonz moves in !
It has good and bad days. On 2/1/2020 was the worse. Will never order (to go) again.
Shanita " Meme" is an excellent representative for Fatz Cafe in Aiken. Very nice and friendly!! She did an excellent job with my order.
The new booths and redesign of the restaurant is very nice although the lowering of the height of the booth backs takes away a little of the privacy. The baby back ribs were outstanding! They were so well done and so flavorful they practically fell off the bone anto your on their own. The coleslaw had very little flavor but everything else was excellent including the service.
Went with my family for my birthday today and was very disappointed in our entire dining experience! Took over 30 minutes to be seated then took a very long time for the waitress to come greet us. We ordered and they brought out appetizers on the house for the wait then began bringing our food. Everyone got their food but my brother in law and it never came, even after we asked about it. After getting the checks we asked that his meal be taken off the ticket, we paid and left. He was there 2hrs and never even got a meal! Fatz used to be a great place to eat but we will not be back until they get better management and service!
Hands down the best Filet Mignon I've ever had...the service was great too! Will be back soon!
Last few times we went the service was slow and the food not as good as in past. Last time we ate there we ordered salads with Ranch Dressing and were told they were out!! Granddaughter had time to run to Kroger and pick some up. So tonight I decided to order potato soup and a dessert to go. They were going to charge me an extra dollar for the ice cream because I wanted it on the side so it won’t melt! The manager came out and she told him he had it right but that is because he hadn’t added the extra dollar he told me they would charge. I tried to show her where it says it comes with it and was told she knows what it says!!! I got home and the potato soup was purée potato soup! Very disappointing!
For the past several visits they were out of menu items especially their bread rolls. Today they were out of sweet potatoes. Fatz is located directly between 2 large grocery stores and yet no sweet potatoes. Unfortunately, one of my favorite restaurants has become the worst in town. They still charge like they are worth the experience, but I’m sorry, there is no excuse for this to happen on every visit. I have anticipated for a while and still do expect the doors to close any day. No changes, no remorse or understanding for their continued failures to be what they should, so I won’t be spending any more time or money with them. It’s a sad disappointment. We really enjoyed Fatz for years. Not so anymore.
Went to Fatz for the first time in over a year, after 55 minutes with no food we walked out. The manager didn’t seem too concerned. Will never go back.
Service was less than up to par. Decent food but a bit pricey if you're not careful. Peach Whiskey BBQ sauce was delicious tho.

Sad to say I had a lunch date with my little boy and the service plus quality of food was lacking. We only saw the server when ordering and dropping off food. No refills plus had to hunt someone down to be able to pay. The bowl of chili was more like a cup. Just was ready to get out of there. Btw they weren't busy only 2 other tables at the time
Service was bad, staff was rude and food was overpriced and pretty bad. The place has really gone downhill.
We have been here twice so far and both times it has been amazing! The food is seasoned very well and the portions are more than generous. The service is always friendly and prompt. We will be making this a regular stop.
Used to enjoy fast service and great food. Now I have to wait twenty minutes to even be asked about what I would like to drink. Have to walk to the bar to get a refill due to my waitress not paying attention. Then wait close to an hour for my family's food. Granted we were eventually told that the reason for our wait was because the manager sent the chicken back to be recooked due to the first piece being undercooked but we were not told about that until the door greeter asked us if we were waiting for our food and then went to check on our food for us. We weren't even asked if we would like more rolls while we waited. Our was hot and good and we were offered a free dessert for our wait but I feel that paying forty dollars plus a tip we should have received much better service. I do not see myself returning to Fatz Cafe in Aiken.
Very good food! I love their loaded baked potato soup and sweet Brussels! My husband enjoys the burgers!! Quiet and clean!
