I tried the Philly Cheesesteak, number 22 on the menu, and it absolutely delivered. The sandwich is massive in person—what you see in the photo is just the remaining half. I added jalapeños, which gave it the perfect kick without overpowering the flavors. The steak was well-seasoned and satisfying, but the real star was the bread. First time stopping in for lunch while passing through on my way to Charlotte. I’ll admit I’m a spoiled Northerner, coming from a place where sandwich and pizza shops bake their bread fresh throughout the day instead of relying on vendors. I ordered the Carnivore. The meat was plentiful and the sandwich was overall tasty, but the white bread it came on tasted like it was a few days old.

We go here a lot and the food is always good. I tried the French dip today and it was very good with grilled onions. There was enough of the dip for two sandwiches. I also tried the vegetable soup and that was very good as well.
