I tried Neon Fig after a friend recommended the restaurant. They have an outdoor dining area which is nice. Since I dined during lunch hours, I can only attest to their breakfast and lunch choices which were great! I definitely would return. The restaurant is a great place to experience different menu options that aren’t offered in your typical southern restaurant.
This restaurant came highly recommended from the staff at the visitor center. We parked at the visitor center and train museum, spent some time there and enjoyed ourselves, and then walked a short four blocks to the neon fig. The day was beautiful so we sat outside, which was the right choice. Quiet street, lined with magnolia trees, on a picture perfect day. Kate was our server and was tremendous, perhaps a little too attentive, but took great care of us. I had the quinoa power...
Beignets were very good, well the jam that came with it was. But the shrimp toast was unpleasant. Luckily I saved the jam from the beignets to put on some of my toast.
The latte was delicious.
